As the title says, this is my first animation in years. I was a member of the old FluidAnims, but I just sort of drifted away from animating all together. My friend got me back into it, so now here I am, and a lot of shit has changed. Anyway, give me some c&c on this. Spent a few hours on it, and be harsh, it's the only way I'll get back in the swing of things since I'm still working the rust out of my system.

So here's what I think: There should be a smoother transition between the pull and the first kick. The impact of Green against the ground is really shitty, I'm still working on that. There's general fluidity to be worked on as always, and the transition into Orange's final pose isn't as good as I'd like it to be.

Orange's abrupt pause at the end made me wince. Nooby movement is nooby. Try to avoid things like that.

Also, try double-framing some parts. It's hard to see what's going on, and it will look better.

The green stick shouldn't be falling straight downwards when the orange guy pulls him, instead, I think he should kinda fall towards the orange stick.

I thought about that, but then I would have to continue the combo so he didn't just sort of collide with him

I double-framed the impacts on the kicks. Telling me to double-frame "some parts" could make it look jumpy. Could you be more specific?

You got a point there. How about you make the green guy fall towards orange and then make the orange guy keep his hands raised, in a style similar to DBZ? You know how they do it right?
But yea i wouldn't force ya, its your animation :)

Don't worry dude, all critique is welcome. I was thinking of making this guy my RHG, but then I had a better idea (hint) so I sort of just dropped the anim as quick as I could.

I think you should ease in more and work on anticipation (I assume you already know what this means). The kicks didn't look like they had any force.
