my usual start up

i have the two miners mine till i get about 700, then i buy two sword wrath and two more miners, then after i get a little more i buy two miner two pray , then buy castle archers and miner wall to set up defenses [study everything for miners and archers], then you build one wall in front of the second group of gold then, one in front of the first, build up money nice and easy and start building up your army. [always research passive gold all the way]. also if you plan on getting giants research their tower to the max very early on in the game because they cost little and you wont have to worry about it later.

Why wait until you're at 700?
This will just put you behind. Just get 2 swordswrath and one miner, or 2 miners and 1 swordswrath the instant the game starts.

you do not have to wait till 700
you only really need six miners 2 for mana and the other four for gold mining
so that comes up to 900 g

Why would you save up to buy 2 miners? Buying 1 miner at a time will get you more early income.. that and you can't even make 2 at a time

Wait....you need 8 miners on gold, because you can have two miners at each gold patch. You get another 4 in mid-game. Of course, there's the other 4 near the middle, but that could be for late game.

But then again, 6 miners at the start is good enough for people who are starting. This is just based on my experience.

you bring out a good point there eight miners would be a target mid game but if you go for eight miners you want to make sure they have fast walk other wise they are pretty usless

castle archers arnt going to kill a sword wrath at the central tower lol..
