he insists in calling "Pixels" that can grow to any size between a grain of sand and a football (or a soccer ball if you're living in American soil), their default size. If you're looking for accurate numbers, they're about 22cm (8.7 inches) in width, length and height. The Pixels are cubes at all times and are naturally white with thick black outlines. Sebastian can freely adjust their colour, but they never emit light so rave parties are out of the question. The Pixels are incredibly smooth to the touch and soft in a similar way to marshmallows; however, if you try and fall on top of them, their consistency looks more similar to that of a fresh eraser. Why the difference is as such was never really found, unfortunately.

The main detail about the Pixels is that they're solid only to Sebastian; anything that is not part of his body (his own clothes included) will pass through as if they weren't even there.

Outside of that, he can freely maneuver them with his thoughts as far as he can see and bring them into and out of existence at whim but, they always re-appear somewhere next to him.
Another couple of useful things about them is that they don't produce any sound whatsoever when stepped on, so they're invaluable for him to sneak around on and they are great for absorbing high ammounts of pressure, meaning that Gladstone can fall down from further heights than normal without any real consequence to his body.

Regarding its usage, Gladstone has pretty much incorporated his ability into the way he moves. A second nature to his locomotion. The ease of creation and disappearance of his Pixels allows him to pretty much travel wherever he wants without any real issue and has left him quite bold when attempting jumps one would normally hesitate in fear of falling because he knows he can just create a pixel underneath him if things go wrong.
As such, this fostered his love for parkour and becoming what is called a traceur (one who practices it). Now one major difference is that he doesn't do it to show off. All he enjoys is finding the most efficient and fun path to his destination, not thinking twice about jumping over a wall or sliding under something that's on his way. The way he moves is simply to be efficient, not flashy.

As for abilities that don't really involve any abnormal traits, Sebastian has formal training in martial arts, leaving him pretty comfortable with hand-to-hand and weapons-based combat (Weapons he has experience with including: knives, kalis, tonfas (favourite), nunchucks, bos and swords mainly, but he is capable of using most things he finds if none of the listed are available).
Regarding firearms, he has some training with them, but doesn't stand out in any way.

He will prefer to fight unarmed unless the situation demands otherwise and as he is a member of Halberd, he was given a pair of semi-fingerless gloves created to protect the owner's hands. They're made of a light and malleable metal that is capable of absorbing a higher amount of pressure, protecting the user's knuckles and wrists without sacrificing much of the power a normal punch would have. Furthermore, these gloves are easily foldable and saved in someone's pocket so, unless something special happens, Gladstone would never go out without them.
There are also traces of masochism that Sebastian tries to hide, especially when he sees his own blood, giving him a larger pain resistance than most people.

Now, although he doesn’t bring them unless he knows he’s going to a fight where a weapon will be necessary, Sebastian also owns a pair of tonfas made of titanium which are covered with a filament of silver that was welded spirally into its length.
Underneath it, there's a button that starts a small current that follows an infinite loop, electrifying the weapon until the next button press. In order for this to not backfire, the grip is, obviously, made out of rubber. A good blow to the head can knock someone out without a sound, if you aim for the temple. The voltage circling is also high enough to hurt as well as high enough to leave burn marks on human flesh if pressed against it for long, but nothing fatal.

As for more passive capabilities, Gladstone has good reflexes, is quite agile, has a great instinct, good spatial awareness, good hearing, an above average strength and he’s a fast self learner.

ain, the fact that only Gladstone can touch them. He could be standing on top of a pixel and if someone tried to push his pixel away to make him lose his balance (and why would you even do such a thing, you evil person), the individual's body would simply pass through and fall face-first into the ground (karma's a lovely thing, isn't it?)

Another limitation to his power, besides the fact that he can't create more than 5 cubes at a time nor make them bigger than a football is that whenever he creates a Pixel, it will always appear somewhere next to him.

Aside from that, Gladstone's Pixels cannot transport him. They can hold his weight just fine, but Sebastian can't make them transparent and have them fly him around like a super-hero. As long as he's standing on top of them, the adorable little cubes can't move.

If Sebastian loses sight of any of his pixels, unless it's floating withing a metre (3ft 3in, roughly) around him, it will disappear in just a few seconds.

On the physical side of things, Sebastian does not have the most endurance so he'll likely get tired quicker than most.
As a final note, the creation of his Pixels is the only thing his body can do that can't be achievable by a human and as such, like everyone else, he is prone to disease, pain, dismemberment, spleen removals and any other unpleasant possible things one can come up for sadistic pleasure.

ion, Sebastian can call for the help of his squad back at Halberd; be it for battles or to help him in some other assignment outside the wRHG battle system. Given the distance, you can assume it would take around 6 hours for his colleagues to arrive and be ready to do anything.
Battle-wise, they won't come unless Gladstone is terribly unsure of the battle's outcome and when they do, they will do their best to not compromise Gladstone's disguise in the wRHG. They will simply try to stop his death in some way.

Not accounting for himself, there are 4 other people belonging to his squad that he'll usually resort to if he needs help:

Alexander Drummond:
re he has a line of sight, allowing him to look around in that area as if he were actually there and with an accurate idea of far he is from his own body, making him an excellent scout and sniper. The limitation to this ability however is that doing so puts a strain on his mind, only allowing him to execute it for roughly 30 seconds every two hours. It does not stack.
The upside of this is that transportation of his mind is practically immediate so the big majority of the available time he has is spent actually using the ability itself.
In regards to hand-to-hand combat; he's capable, but nothing outstanding. Sebastian, for instance, will beat him in a fair fight. He is capable of taking care of himself.[/spoiler]

monster. He’s 1,93m with large shoulders and an apt body. He has short black hair and brown, almost black, eyes. His skin tone does not seem be neither too white nor too dark. He does not wear anything that will make him stand out. On the back of his neck (if someone can even look high enough to see it), there’s a small, but clearly visible, horizontal scar that seems to have been made by a blade of some sort.[/spoiler]
not have any kind of interest in opening up. He acts coldly towards anyone and talks solely when necessary, rarely ever chatting. He's loyal to the people he respects and carries out his orders without hesitation. This however, does not mean he doesn't understand the value of teamwork. He trusts the people in his squad, special mention going even to Elena which, ever since saving his life, has been the only one capable of actually getting him to open, even if only done when no one else is around.

Note: If sharing a connection through Selena's ability, Alexander is actually a lot more talkative, often making remarks about what he finds, sometimes with a tendency of making bad jokes told so seriously that one actually can't help but at least snicker at them.[/spoiler]
e but Elena; however, that doesn't mean they aren't friends. Sebastian has managed to get along with him and both have worked together with a good degree of success. They don't actually need much communication to understand what each other needs and Alexander will probably be the one Sebastian will ask for help the most.[/spoiler]

Elena Osborne:
le of sensing any living being that produces any kind of heat in a sphere around her up to a range of 25 metres by sending brain waves that travel at a rate of 4 m/s (metres per second. It takes about 6.25 seconds to reach her maximum range).
The only limitation to the amount of waves that she can send is her own focus. Anything that can divert her attention even in the slightest will cancel the wave and force her to re-send it.
Physically, while she is also a capable fighter in the same sense as Alexander, she lacks a bit of instinct in battle, going too much "by the book", making her predictable.[/spoiler]

Elena can't stand blatant disrespect for anyone she cares for nor any act of clear injustice, quickly jumping to try and correct, but more importantly, she's pretty much the sole person responsible for the squad's unity. She acts like everyone's older sister, caring deeply for everyone's well-being, knowing when to be kind and when to be strict, imposing respect. Everyone in the squad deeply appreciates that.[/spoiler]

Selena “The Server” Lambton
lf to the minds of up to 7 people at the same time, so long as she can pinpoint exactly where they stand at the momment of conection. Contrary to what one might expect though, she cannot read their minds. Depending on the type of connection ("Send Only", "Receive Only" and "Send and Receive"), she can, however, receive brain waves that follow a certain spectrum of patterns. Inside this spectrum, interestingly enough, lies some of the possible brain waves that are emitted from a simple thought, therefore, accidents are possible. One way to increase the possibility of this happening is by actually suggesting ideas that may lead to the other person thinking about the information she wants and hoping it gets sent. Everyone in her squad has been trained to send her their thoughts at will. As for how she communicates with it, she can actually do it without a problem.
She can change her connections at will as well as what type of connections they are. After establishing a tie with the target, they can get up to half a kilometre (roughly 550 yards) before she loses connection.
Her abilities make her a great interrogator and an invaluable asset when communicating silently.
She is also highly tech savvy and has an unusually accurate memory.
Combat-wise, she is skilled with the bo staff, even if a bit too dependent on it, being visibly worse in hand-to-hand. She can hold her own like the rest of the squad, but it's nothing amazing.[/spoiler]
bo staff so Halberd provided her with a retractable version of it. This one is also made of titanium and can go from 30cm when retracted to 180cm by simply tapping a button in the middle and, if necessary, up to 240cm by pressing it for a second (the only time where she would use this is when she needs to shove somebody away as 240cm is a bit too big to handle properly). Tapping it once again returns it to its initial size.
The spring on this weapon is strong enough that, if aimed correctly, can break most bones in the human body.
Other than that, she also carries with her a pair of Glocks and another pair of the same semi-fingerless gloves. [/spoiler]
long, straight black hair that goes somewhat past her shoulders and a really pale, almost sickly, skin tone that contrasts with her green eyes. Physically, she’s quite slim and the weakest of all, but she’s minimally fit. Height wise she doesn’t go above 1,73m and she has a tendency of wearing turtlenecks whenever she has a chance. To avoid bothering her she (reluctantly) ties her hair into a ponytail during field missions.[/spoiler]
at socially awkward, when she wants, she can actually be highly positive, attentive and unpredictable. Regardless of whether it suits her fancy or not, she's also highly unorganized (even if she believes that everything is in order), lazy and a slouch. Provided she's comfortable, she also enjoys teasing her friends.
One thing that should be known though is that Selena enjoys interrogating people to the point where it gets slightly creepy. Some sort of switch is flipped within her, making her capable of adopting a myriad of different personalities to ensure she gets the information she wants. According to her, the idea of trying to really get into another person's mind when linked to them is exhilarating.

Side note: Selena has an unusual propensity to wear turtlenecks especially of the purple kind. She uses them to cover half of her face when she wants to think while curling up into a ball at the same time.[/spoiler]

The battle with Battlefield got a bit weird because we didn't actually had a pool. I don't know whether I should accept that victory or not so I decided to just let it stay there.
