Also, I amp it up all the way to 128. The only good thing about start is that it can transfer between scenes, where stream can't unless you edit it to. But if you pause the anim than start gets all fucked up.

Outside of right-clicking, does the animation get thrown out of whack any other time if it's already been preloaded? Because if I try to crank the quality up more I run into two issues: 1) it's still not good enough, and 2) there's this weird clicking sound that's loud and obnoxious and sounds very crappy.

Start is obnoxiously annoying, because unless you script it, it won't stop with the anim.
That's much grande problemo for looping anims.

Fucking 160 that shit, or 112 if you prefer.
(The only difference from 112-160 is the pitch)

There's a little check box that should say "convert stereo to mono," whenever I have that clicking problem I find that it usually helps to un-check that box.

True, i never keep my stereo - mono box checked. It helps the quality.
What you could do maybe is since you like start rather than stream, you could possibly make the animation with stream, so you can sync, and all that jazz, and then in the end change it back to start as long as you put the stop actionscript to keep the music from continuing after the animation has stopped. (I dont know the actionscript for that, but i know there is one)

I dont know why you'd want to, but how you set up your animations is all up to you.

Well, uh, no that code would kinda be dumb and pointless, unless it were applied to a button.

If it's in a keyframe, you can just leave it as is.

But how would you make it so if they right click and stop it, the music would stop with it?
