to be truthful, a army of swordwraths with rage, 2-4 merics and a magikill can actually be very effective, the Swords can Deal massive damage with rage at a crazy short amount of time, the merics can heal the swords, and the Magikill can provide the backup support. This usually is effective with armies that have like 3-4 giants since the rage can do enormous damage, the giants attack just one swordwrath at a time (unless the opponents smart enough to make the giants go for more than one swordwrath) and the Giants slow attack speed allows the merics to heal and the magikill to cast their spells.

Worst army has to be an army of Albowtross. Magikill eat albowtross for breakfast, so just combine that with a miner or spearton wall with a few merics and your good to go. You can use An army of archidons with fire arrows, a miner or spearton wall, and a magikill to try and outrange them. And even If they defeat these, Resillience plus 3 castle archers can send those flyers falling.

My Army:
3 Speartons
2 Giants
2 Merics
1 Magikill

vs.

3 Giants
10 Albows

*Magikill cast electric wall!
All the albows drop dead.
Then I win :p

To be honest, I don't know what makes an army the best, but when I get that ghost thingy and upgrade it to be a giant, I beats the f*** out of everything whilst I set up the rest of the soldiers

I don't use Shadowraths and/or the Giants
although Giants tank damage and Shadowraths are fast, strong, smart, and cool.(I like the Shadowraths! :p :)) :D
But i really don't use them. :(

Check when the last post was posted. 1 magikill beats 40 miners with poison spray. 40 archers or 11 giants would beat the first army.

Best army: 14 miners and 5 allbows versus 5 giants and still win

My method works well and is easy to make.
i make about 10 archers and speartons and one magickill and two merics and seem to win often.

i am in the late 1400's in the rating though

BEST ARMY! One that is made earlier, better-microed and counters the others. If it is countered, adapt and change your army to kick their ass. And make sure to finish the job.
