Wow, this was actually a really good battle.
Both sides could use some work so I'll try my best to break them down.
Metaloxide
I like the style you got going on there, it reminded me somewhat of Phil. There was some nice combos in there, and just overal a good fight.
Animation wise, you did pretty well, there was some stop and go I noticed, but other than that it was pretty sweet.
Creativity is were it lacked tho. It was a good animation don't get me wrong, but it seemed some what boring, there was nothing for the viewer to follow, just 2 sticks beating the crap out of each other.
That's not neccicarly bad, but it's not very good either. I know a lot of animators don't really do it, but that's just because todays generation of animators are fairly lazy. And don't like to actually work to enjoy things.
Overall I loved the animation man, I wan't to see more stuff from you. And for you to improve, we could maybe even RHG one day. Good job man ;)
Op34
Omg man, you are a really creative dude. I loved the intro, and the backgrounds. And I really appreciate the plot put into the animation.
Animation wise you could use a bit of work, I saw a lot of stop and go, and maybe even a bit of chopiness. But I do like you're flow and you're style.
Creativity wise, you took the gold man. I loved everything about the plot you set for the viewer. You even left a cliffhanger when you talked about some mystery girl who apparently got killed. (It's probably apart of you're RHG story that i'm too lazy to read lol.)
I liked the piano guy in the background. And overall I just loved you're creativity man. You sir will also go on the list of people I need to RHG one day.
Part of the reason being I have a bad reputation for trying to put plots in my animations, but ending up with a slide show of dialogue.
So in the end, what does it come too?
Animation wise, Metal would no doubt take the cake.
But I for one appreciate animators who take the time to put plots and story in there battles.
It actually makes the viewer work to fully enjoy the animation work.
And it separates from the modern day stick animation, were it's just random fighting.
So even tho this may be one of the closest battles i've seen yet, my vote goes to op34. Good job man, i'll be looking forward for some things from you.
