Hey, my question to you fine people here is, can you live without your phone, tablet or any sort of portable device? And if so, for how long? I haven't had a cell phone for the past 4 years and I'm actually doing okay without one. I haven't yet found a need for smart phones. As for tablets and/or any other all in one portable device, I haven't found a need for any of them. I do have a PSP and surprisingly enough I play on it a lot despite the fact that I have a perfectly good PS3 and I rarely play on it. But besides that, I'm good without anything like smart phones. So, to the people who have lots of things such as that, do you think you can survive on a daily basis without it?

used to have a laptop but didnt care all that much about it.

Before my little brother had a smart phone and I didn't, I was completely fine about it and was able to live without using any cellular device (even if he wasn't using it)

Now since I DO have a phone, Im honestly going to say, I'd last for maybe a month or 2 months while when I didn't have a phone, I could live my entire life without one

When I was a Kid IDC about cellphones, but now? Hmm meh. But without Internet?! That's a whole new story!

I have a phone, but I don't really use it neither touching it.. I don't care about it, I agree with kira because without internet, its a different story

If going on the internet is one of the main reasons you use your phone, then it would include that as well.

If I had a different job, I'm sure I could live without one but I imagine my social life would degrade fairly quickly.

Well human beings had lived for thousand years without tech devices, the answer to your question would be yes, we can perfectly live without a phone or any other devices.

Now, since we invented all of these stuffs to communicate each other, hmmm, actually not simply to communicate each other , as zed said, a lot of people in the world uses his phone/tablet to work, the whole world nowadays works with tech devices, if someone/something suddenly takes away all the technology in the world, it'd be a chaos. And maybe just for a few months

Personally I'm capable to live without any of this things, but in a second thought, I'm going to work with computers, networks and those kinds of stuffs in a future.... And I need to work with some music xD . So yeah I'd need my laptop and or phone to get a job and work on it to survive.
