When I registered on SP I did it using my gmail account. I have my gmail reserved for important things, now I've been waiting for important mails, but it's hard to find them between the SP notifications. I've received lots of PM, visitor messages and friend requests, and I don't need a message on gmail telling me about it

Is there a way to change this option? Like don't receive notifications on gmail too?

Try making a temporary e-mail specificly for the notifications. like SPnoitify@gmail.com or something. Then switch your e-mail to that. Wait for the mail your waiting for and when you get it switch back.

or just use the second e-mail so you dont have to be annoyed for the rest of your life -.-

Make another gmail account solely for dumping notification emails there, and change you current email to that one in the settings.
Simples.

EDIT: Damn, I was ninja'd.

All right it worked guys

If you're going to try this, make sure to activate your account again on the new mail... Or you'll not be able to post again >_>

For future reference, you can edit your notification settings under General Settings on your Settings page. http://forums.stickpage.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
