ABILITIES
He can create slime, also called goo, near his body in three different forms and he can change the form anytime. (the goo disappears after an hour)
Yellow: the basic goo which has a high viscosity (it’s thick)
Green: the solid form, it’s as hard as rock
Red: it can explode on impact or whenever Gooy wants it to explode.
He can use his goo to regenerate himself over time.
He’s not a real strategist but he can think out some plans.
He might obtain another goo form based on the enemy's powers if the goo comes in contact with the DNA and has been reabsorbed or when he wins a battle.

WEAKNESS
He can't make sharp edges like swords or axes etc., so he can’t cut anything. However he can make points like spears so he can still scratch you.
Normal human weaknesses.
He can make a lot of goo, but there is a limit. When he reaches it, he has to absorb the goo before he can create new.
The more goo he has to control, the harder he needs to focus on it. Surprise him there and BAM, most of the goo will splash to the ground.
After he controled a lot of goo he has to regain some focus ... like in a game with a mana bar that fills itself slowly

STORY
Just as an everyday student Steve went to college but unfortunately he failed miserably because he just was, still is, too childish.
His debts were running high and he needed some quick money.
Coincidently thousands of miles away a research program at his university needed some test subje... uhum... persons and luckily there was a big
compensation for it so he didn't hesitate a second.
He applied and was brought immediately to an operationroom where they took a sample of his DNA and fused it with some organic matter.
They then injected him with that same matter which is the entire meaning of the experiment, to see if they can create regeneration on humans.
Everything went normal the next few days but then some unexpected things happened to him. He started to vomit slime and sweat goo.
This together with his terrible marks caused him to realise his study carreer had no future and he was like: "Well f**k this s**t, I'm out!"
So he resigned from school, discovered his powers, trained in combat and renamed himself Gooy.
6 years later he now makes a living out of stealing, helping where possible and chasing bounties.

he's a clever person, can be serious but is in general still quite childish
