Dang, that sucks. But what about NPCs/story characters? Announcers, bosses, background folks, support characters, etc. Nothing major, just a little part. And how specifically can you contribute in ways other than animation and coding?

Aw dang, I was thinking along the lines of writing quotes/lines or a story, or coming up with an endless list of ideas for everything (attacks, generic enemies, etc.)(and drawing/animating a few of those ideas). The last thing you want ME to be is a voice actor (._.).

By the way, the fifteen characters will be the ONLY characters in the game, as in ever? It would be cool to have dozens of other RHGs as background figures/supporting characters, stuff like that.

I'm certainly not the best, but I can offer my writing for a possible story to the RHGG, if there's a campaign (conspiracy anyone?). I also have an endless list of ideas in case your brain runs out of them, and I might try to make a quick drawing or a brief animation for some.

Still, I'd really like this question answered, will there still be a chance for RHGs to get their character in the game but not necessarily as someone playable? Like background characters, support characters, storyline people, announcers, bad guys (a conspiracy could involve the cloning of RHGs? Would make generic weak versions of RHGs make more sense), etc.

Yes, of course. But, this isn't going to skyrocket on the first demo. All available spots are full now, but not next update, see? Anyway, were going to add a whole lot more to this game, but were taking it slow. :) Besides, you can always help in other ways too, such as designing backrounds. I'm sure you'll think of a lot more.

That means...no story? I was prepared to write some epic RHG canon, with how each battle worked and the cities buildings being the sub-forums here and the SP/FA merge and everything. D:
