Pawn=Swordwrath
Rook=Spearton
Bishop=Archer
Queen=(VARIES)Giant
King=You :)

In chess what you wanna do is control the center of the board which will you give you a better advantage kinda like in stickempires where if you have the tower you have a better chance of winning

Sure? That doesn't make much sense, but then again, I just woke up.
Only 1/3rd of the game can attack air units, while in chess, every unit can attack, every other unit.

Well in chess every piece can not attack every other piece..
Like bishops move diagonal
Rooks move horizontal.
Thats why I said its kinda of similar.

Every piece can attack every other piece, just in different ways.
Pawns can attack kings, queens, knights, bishops, other pawns & rooks.
Rooks can attack kings, queens, knights, bishops, other rooks & pawns.
The way they attack is different though.
There is one exception. Kings can not attack kings.

technically they can cuz the first king to engage the enemy king will die because the first king moves into range of teh enemy king but because chess doesn't want ppl making stupid mistakes theres the "check" rule.
