Huh, not really sure. Apparently I've got a little bit of one, but that was actually news to me. As far as I can tell though, it's not that hard (assuming you find out, a lot of people have distinct names to me) assuming one of many things.

Now, maybe this is just me, but I'm under the impression people like gory deaths. Both Shaq (Azure) and Kyra are pretty much famous for this and they both almost got cult followings. Maybe that was just because they're really good writers though.

Which leads me to thing two.

Be a good writer, and if you don't start out as one, you can always improve to get there.

Twists help a lot, surprises and strong tone.

You'll also make a name for yourself if people see enough of you in our corner, and you sound moderately intelligent.

Guess it's not too hard, assuming I'm right anyway. If any of these aren't your style though, don't sacrifice for them. Not worth the trade off, especially if it stops being fun.

What names, and what about them?

We're compromised of a small number of people, so everyone pretty much knows everyone in the WL. This is the discussion thread so you can freely ask questions (as long as they are not spam) about wRHG or WL in general.

As far as making a name for yourself, I'm not sure. I guess it depends more on what you do in the threads that makes you stand out, and the time you've been here.

As for names, i got Blur (of course), Clue, Faze, Poise, and Phenom. Im sure i can do better, but yeah. Which of these pop out at all?

Hmm... Give us more insight to the character and we might be able to determine one, or you could choose a reasonably plain name..?

You just need to be a good member.
Don't get butthurt, and learn to take some jokes.
And don't forget to contribute to threads, and write well.

About names, first of all, what's your gimmick? Gimmick can influence your character.
But also make a name that is easy to pronounce.
It would greatly help your writing.

Names? Well, it depends. Just try out whatever you like, though I think it should suit your character's theme, like Triss said. Blur, Clue: Pretty general? Poison, Venom?? Oh, Poise and Phenom. So poison-y. And Faze? Sounds like Haze. And that is just my "opinion", should it qualifies.

I suggest don't use names that are just a typo of your ability. It makes your character less interesting.
Instead, use a name that have 1 or 2 syllables, and are not weird to pronounce.

And seriously, what's your theme? Without knowing your theme, we can't decide which name is better.

I was thinking of a character that was a serious fighter, but not impressed with the competition
