Oh man the King in Yellow is awesum. My only gripe is that you need to always use teh herald to use the Corruption tokens. But that's nothing a few house rules couldn't fix. Pooling was our main strategy as well. We started 2 years ago with the base and Kingsport, then we gradually bought the rest every 3 months or so until we had everything.

Then we played the ultimate challenge: Cthulhu with his 2 signature heralds with every expansion included with personal stories, corruption, the King in Yellow play, with all 4 boards and a full 8 players.

I think that took us about 8 hours to complete. We didn't sleep all night XD

Oh snap, I get the feeling that I'd want to have more than one set after all xD

The last time I remembered playing a tabletop game for 8 hours straight [But I think it was all through the night] was an entire dungeon and some other campaign parts of DnD. So, when shall the pseudo-AH come to life?

I'm assuming DnD means dungeons and dragons?
If it does then I need some begginer tips. I clearly don't get the game and I have been called a noob a couple of times.
If its not dungeons and dragons then please do carry on.

Mainly just to start me off. My cousin was sick one day and asked me to fill his spot for a club and that day was DnD day and EVERYONE was quite mad at me for not getting a single f$%king thing.

Well, DnD is kind of complicated if you start on the fly. If you're really interested in playing, try asking your friend to act as DM and ask some of your other friends to play as well. Its better to learn as you go instead of just dropping it all onto you. Its even better when you're all new to it and the DM knows more. It adds to the fun really.

Regarding tabletop-RPG systems, can I suggest World of Darkness? Been trying to get a game of that started for nearly a year, now, but the groups have always fallen apart for one reason or another.

So, I've been working on my battle with sarans, and I realized that I've exceeded my 1,000 word minimum without actually getting to the actual battle yet. How crazy is that?

That's going to be one long battle.
I have never played a tabletop RPG game, although I would like to try to.

Heh, I don't know how crazy it is, but I do know you're not the only one who's nuts.

So, at the conclusion of my battle (which had a minimum of 1,000 words), I have (with spaces included) 3,367 words. And this was me being lenient.

For my next battle, I'm hoping to breach 10,000. Perhaps it will be my clan battle...?

Dude, I made a character profile with over 75K words just to beat the 50K one so that I could win a special item for the quest. I am not afraid to one up people. But seriously, I've wanted to fight a clan for a while, so I'd naturally have to give myself some serious goals to reach. Quality is born through temperament, work, and dedication.

Heh, I'm playing bro, but don't try to just push word count just for the sake of the number. Let it last however long it's going to last. Great if it reaches the goal though!
