I was thinking a new thread in the Characters section
And I didn't quite that Hewitt, but it wouldn't quite be that in depth, just a couple sentences or so. Maybe though, I'd have to think on it to see if that would be worth it. It would only really make a difference if people do go back and read all the stories though.

A summary would indeed spoil critical elements that, to the average passerby, is often enough to turn readers away now that they know all they would ask for. Perhaps an alternative might be a synopsis, where it will entice the reader by setting up a nice tagline without showing anything unless they were to actually read the stuff.

I don't read very many of the wrhg battles as is, I do feel like having summaries of them would make it less likely for me to do so

It was primarily to see who's fought who and to see who's died (as told by the victor) but I'll take that

So you guys take dying in wrhg seriously? Like if you lose a battle and the other guy kills you off, would you make a new wrhg to replace thr one that is now deceased?
I'm pretty ignorant of what goes on in the writers lounge obviously, I've only recently started coming in here

Haha, that's fine~well we don't take death that seriously, some peeps may do that but usually we stick to our own cannon. So if we die in their story we don't get affected by it and only think of the outcome of our story. Though people may add a bit of their opponents outcome to theirs if they wish.
Though if it's to see who's fought who then should that be added onto the gladiator's profile? Isn't that what peeps are doing now?
I'm just not getting the point of the mentioning of the death mentions bro~

I wouldn't say that, but we do for characterization. I just think the concept of cannons and alternate/parallel universes(? I forget the word) would be interesting to explore and see in action. Additionally, I was curious if anyone else was for it to be worth it.
EDIT: Heh, I should've expected you to ninja me seeing your name chilling out in the browsing thread thing

Isn't that what battle histories are for?

If you want to click every individual character that's fine, but nothing really exists the larger scale. I suppose that would be closer to what I was trying to get across

I was referring to hall of warriors. The win/loss ratio.
At best, why not just link the battles on the Hall. It would double as a neat index. But to contribute an entire canon of historical clutter just for catching up on canon feels iffy, in that wRHGs aren't suppose to have em. It's the equivalent of having an RHG that puts way too much emphasis on the story. Now yeah, this is wRHG right. But not everyone likes consistent canon. Sometimes they just want to fight and the canon is an excuse because it just happens to also be writing-related.

Heck, I kill my own character 50% of the time (That's IF you count the 1 battle with Gorsgan, IF). Granted, I established in my story vs. Soulfire that Omega can heal from some very fatal injuries.
Personally, I see no point to having a history. I suppose it could be a fun little gimmick for individual profiles but it seems... unnecessary. Especially considering I am one of the very few to have my own character die and if you lost the battle and we go by the victor being canon... well, you're probably dead and Hewitt's comment about W/L ratio is true 95% of the time, if that infrequent.

I have a question:
I'm having a wRHg fight with BBKing, but then it has passed the due date and BBKing is still banned... So is this counted as a forfeit?

Yes, it does but how long does his banning take place? It might be courteous to wait a bit since he was banned and could not tell you/give you his part.
Mar 21, 2015 2:27 AM #1330221
If you wish, pretty much. You're free to take it as a forfeit.

You have a right to actually take the win. If you're that much of a dick. But there is no rule saying you can't take it.
Take the win if you feel that despite everything, BBKing won't deliver
Also can everyone stop saying cannon
It's Canon.
