Hi, I'm not lurking, I swear
<.<

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with using your RHG as your wRHG(as it has been done before), though it it sometimes just easier to have a different character altogether. You just have to rely more on your storytelling skills rather than flashy moves and smooth animation techniques. I personally have no problems with it, nor do I think there is anything stating you can't(I may be wrong), but let's hope someone else can help you more than I can.

Oh, and while it is ok to have your character be a stick figure, I'd just. work out an actual descriptive appearance for them instead. Just my two-cents.

Well thanks for your helps, it's just rather strange you have replyed to me like two times in a row today >_>

Sup. Just as reinforcement, yes, you can have the same character. However, as we're writing based, details are expected, not only for your sake, but for your opponent's as well. If we can't envision your character, we can't write about your character, and if we can't write about your character, well, there's no battle. So when deciding on your character, make sure they're somebody you can actually flesh out to a decent length in order to ensure they're properly written about.

Hello guys, I've been busy :D

I've got something I want you guys to comment on: GC-0045 aka Bl.An.C.'s new Gladiator Page

CnC is appreciated and if those who recognize the format, please help me improve on it if you see something wrong. I hope to achieve a clinical tone with this.

Mr EB. We have all been vacant for a while it would seem. However, I do find that quite an interesting read. It gives perspective on the technicality that is Bl.An.C. All scientific and stuff, however I am not one who is good at CnC. However, I do have one comment: Meals taken at 0700. Not 700. It seemed a tad out of place and I think adding the "0" matches the other time period scheme.

The idea of the worm hole idea seems to be something you could build off after "experimentation" and thus needs some looking into. All I did however was thinking of ways I would beat you if it ever came down to a fight. HOWEVER, I think you have something rather marvellous here. It speaks volumes in the way your character could be described. Carry on.

Hi all!

I'm thinking of replacing Vamprina (sigh, again) after my battle with Sharpiro. The reason is actually plot-driven, so you might see it show up in one of Vamprina's status/journal entries in the Wind Chaser Clan thread... I'm not giving up on it!

Plus I think Vamprina's attitude is starting to rub off on me and my mom doesn't like it one bit. I also want my character to be something other than a stick figure for a change. I'm not revealing what type of character it is yet...but I'm hoping I'd be able to manipulate it better than I did Vamprina.

These were some throwaway ideas:

Jackson J. Johnson: I was thinking of bringing him back.
Vipex Corla and Tykhiiv: an alien combat pair, Ty's the sniper and Vipex is a disabler (paralysis attacks)
Leelee: a cutie bunny-blonde killer (which I later realized was heavily inspired by Koshka from Vainglory...)
Matthew Nielson: a saber-wielding short prankster alien
The Dark Ones: a pair of alien creatures I made up with high intelligence that consists of collective knowledge passed down through their generations
Pack Hunters: a trio of saurian aliens I made up that cannot attack together but have to take turns (since I didn't want a potential enemy to get completely overwhelmed)
Drake: that saurian soldier I thought was going to be a huge hit...
Daniel R. Carson: a human with a strange genetic power that allows him to transform into two other animal-like forms aside from his own, he was used in one of my completed novels
Sticks: A stick figure who could spawn with completely random primary + secondary weapons, and a random defensive item.
V009: A robotic creature with a weapon that could transform into a sword, a whip, and a shield...a [REDACTED] of Vamprina after [REDACTED].

Because of spoilers, I can't reveal who I've queued up after Vamprina, so SUSPENSE. :D

If anything, I blame my imagination for running lightspeed-miles-an-hour and leaving me struggling to catch up. I'm hoping this is a final decision on a wRHG, but it's never a sure thing. When I see other wRHGs that seem to have been in the system for ages, I kind of feel embarrassed for changing my gladiator all the time...

My upcoming wRHG's abilities will be put in a poll because I would like people to aid me in the power choices (I don't want the character to be OP...). The character have two main abilities and I've locked them in, but I'm still wondering if I should add a power heavily based off of its history...hmmm.

I like Vipex Corla and Tykhiiv, as do I like the Pack Hunters and Leelee, but the choice is yours ;o

I appreciate the comment, Saul :D

It still doesn't contain what a normal wRHG page should have like personality and demo, so I'll be looking into those.

I've been noticing that most of my characters end up with really descriptive descriptions...and then it seems easy for someone to get lost in the words while reading. I've been trying to condense everything in a simpler form, and use characters that can be pictured very easily.

Yeah! I like writing about aliens :).

Ugh, hey guys, I was recently wondering, my wRHG, Levi, could probably use a second or new set of weapons. His kunai is effective and what not, he's really good with it, but ever since his battle with Six he's only had one.
Levi's always been a better dual wielder, so his Kunai's become more of a tool than a weapon. I was thinking, what's a good pair of weapons that are a bit larger than a kunai, but still pretty small? Two words: Butterfly Swords...
Beasts (Click to Show)

What do you think? Think they'd make a good choice for him?

I think any weapon could be a good choice for a character, so long as it makes sense for him to have it.

If he's happy go lucky though, is he okay with killing? I never saw a reason to have a death weapon to not use. Like, I'd rather beat the hell out of someone with a stick than have a sword I can't really swing

Cassandra, just curious, but why/how do they have to tag one at a time? I fiddle with an idea of a team who could teleport to the other's exact location as they do the same, is it like that? Looking forward to what you come up with though! Don't feel embarrassed about all the swaps though, lots of people have made changes, and I can name 7 set's I've almost/actually had myself

Error: Looks nice! I'm realy curious to see what happened to Cooper!

EDIT (Don't want to waste my 1212 breaking post. Whoo birth-time!):
There are actually a lot of weapons that hurt like a bitch that won't kill you. Bolas and darts I've used/are using, but there are also nunchucks, tasers, gas, pepper spray, tofas, and staffs off the top of my head too. It'd be worth looking into if it was something you'd think of pursing.

I agree with Crank on this. No need having killing weapons if it isn't your intent too be a killer. Kunai are nice because they're humble and, in comparison to most other weapons in this scene, not extraordinarily lethal. Sad thing is that there is little in the way of weapons that don't pose a severe threat on someone's life (quarterstaff, perhaps?).

I wouldn't say it's too far fetched to assume that Levi could simply acquire a new set of kunai (perhaps even more than just two? Doesn't leave you at such a disadvantage if you throw them :P ). I'm not sure whether these butterfly swords would be preferable. You'd be putting yourself at an impasse in your writing, since more lethal force means you'll have to be more creative to work around it when you're writing your battle and you don't intend to not kill your opponent. Most people here can take a few hits but aren't particularly tanky (the tankier gladiators seem to have been on a low, but that could just be me).

Other than that, I liked the touch the kunai gave to your character. The weapons are low-profile and humble, much like your character. Doesn't look that impressing from afar but can pack a considerable surprise punch. The butterfly swords seem more demanding, less keen on being hidden, more eye-catching. If that's the effect you desire, then by all means, though I'd think it'd be breaking with your characters general 'feel'.

Regardless, these are just my reflections on the matter and what you do with them is really up to you. In the end it's more important that you do what you want with your character, because if you grow bored of them you'll be less inclined to write. And that's not what we want now is it?

Good point man, thanks for the tips, I get what you're saying. Levi's kunai do fit his personality quite well, quiet, but packing a serious punch.
I did like the butterfly swords, mostly because they're commonly used in a set. But again, thanks for the advice.

Not a problem. I like pondering on characters anyways. It was a nice opportunity, I saw it, and I took it.

I'm mostly glad to see you're still around really. Most newer people just vanish into nothingness after a while.

Kind of a weird question, but is there a way to issue an open challenge? I haven't competed in quite a while, and I want to get back into the cycle of writing stories.
