And one of those battles was intended to be an open battle VS my character and two others, not unlike what Ken was asking about. So yes, those are possible- but the way to do it (an open battle) would probably be to go into it with a few people in mind and discuss with all of them what you're contemplating, and exactly what you'd be asking out of each and every one of them, if anything.

So if anyone is looking about an open battle, or anything to do with other writers, I'd say the main thing to remember is that communication is extremely important, and that generally the last people to know of or commit to a project will be some of the quickest to abandon it.

That reminds me, I have to set up the Lobby Brawl that's been on the back burner for the past forever. Not for points, just a free for all between everyone interested

If you look at where you post, you'll see a small framed picture of a tree. Enter an image url (direct link to the picture, not the page the picture is on, a common mistake), and you can post different images. Posting a hyperlink is as simple as posting the link; the forum does it for you. If you want to hyperlink words, simply type out what you want, highlight it, then go to the symbol of the earth with a chain and paste the link there. It'll link the highlighted words to whatever you wanted them linked to.

Also, Absol is amazing.
