I think I'll have to go about setting up a clan page, or at the very least, join a clan.

I like the idea of a museum thread... though the sad part is that the fluidanims links are all broken. The only stories we have on record are what we have saved to our hard drives or posted on other sites; everything else was deleted.

What about character limits?

When in doubt, pastebin or google docs.

Well I'm glad we got some of it saved, I'll make sure to talk with you when I get the time and energy; I've been strung out all day. Lots of personal stuff, lots of school stuff, and lots of wRHG stuff I've been using to distract myself from the other stuff. Might have to will myself to sleep in a bit.

Quote from HewittYeah, and it's not like we're going to jam everything into 1 page. First post can be table of contents linking to the actual posts within the thread.
Actually...when FA first got blocked, I panicked and started saving cache'd fights before the entire domain became inaccessible. I was afraid the Writer's Lounge would be dead for good (this was long before I joined mastertop). So yeah, I have quite a handful although vastly incomplete and most of the ones I got are the really old ones like the Very First Fight Ever (stone vs STEEL). Unfortunately, I couldn't find nor save the new ones---basically anything from Crank's era onwards.
He was first? I thought it was Hyun and somebody or other.

Well shit. Looks like I have some work to do.
Make a thread in Original Literature. That's the place you can put incomplete or scrapped/old stuff.
Quote from HewittHey guys, I just thought of something but I don't know if it's a stupid idea. I'm sure at least one of you FA Writers have at least some of your old fights saved on file. Instead of posting it elsewhere as they are old and spam-ish, why not make a Museum thread and post everything there. It would be like, a portal for the writers---something to help inspire the new guys or just for the novelty of it.
Whatcha guys think?

I would just like to say thanks to all the mods to moved the boat load of topics throughout the Writer Lounge. Must've taken a while, so I appreciate the time you took doing it!

All in a day's work, gentlemen.

Hey guys. I was wondering. Would it be possible for one to make an RHG that isn't just one person? Say, a small group, maybe of three, four or five, with specific attributes that wouldn't be even close to measuring up to a regular Gladiator one on one?

For the most part, I think it depends on the group. Like I'd personally be cool with a melee fighter, sniper and spotter.
Duos have been around long enough that I feel like you could make one no questions asked.
A trio'd be new, so it might seem like you were stretching things a bit.
Four and up might be crossing a line though. I think if we're climbing, we should go one step at a time.
That said, I feel that minions are different.
Mechanic with a few robots.
Necromancer with some zombies.
Clones.
Ect.
I don't see anyone having a problem with any of those, but again, depends on the group.
All in all, I say go for it.

Yeah, a tag-team isn't anything unheard of, but three might be a bit of a stretch. If you're considering it, make sure it's something you're actually comfortable writing. Clans and battles would amount to a lot of people in the same place, which is hard for everybody if they have their own personalities. Minions or clones without much personality would probably be the only way having more than two characters would work. A group of two should be perfectly fine if you can establish personalities, though.
That said, I wouldn't suggest trying all sorts of crazy stuff like that when you first start out. One of my first few wRHG's had no physical form, and while I enjoyed the guy, it put me behind quite a bit in terms of character development, which in the end turned out to be one of my strong suits. But don't be afraid to try things like that either, nobody's saying your first wRHG has to be your only one ever, so go ahead and go for it if you've got an idea.

Chromi, it isn't my first RHG :D It's Spitfire from Mastertop, you know.
