Are you fucking kidding me? Do people ever check KidKei's Tutorials? He explaines how to double frame real good. Anyways, its sometimes for slowing down parts
or giving a hit more force, its hard to explain. Really, to tell you the truth, it comes out of practice

You didn't help in anything by saying that.
Anyways, double framing works to add force to a hit, and to make some movements slower and decelerate, I learnt this by practicing. You learn according to your style how and when to double frame in an animation.

Double framing can be used to apply force to movement and slow them down. (A.K.A. Easing)
The use of double framing depends upon your style, some people are heavily dependent upon it, some don't use it to begin with.
Practicing using it will determine how you ultimately use it.

Double framing isn't just about force and easing.
It's actually concerns on the spacing, if the spacing is too big then you can double frame them or make an in between frame.
Sometimes double frames looks better than in between frames, If not I would have animated single frame.
You can also use it even in not that big spaces. I use it alot for my effects, especially smoke.
You can learn other different things to do with double frame, just keep practicing.

How I double frame:
Oh, that looks bad. Let's double frame random frames around that point.
If it still looks bad then I just delete the frames lol
