ECONOMY
Make sure you have enough gold to buy strong units and enable early attacks.
COMMAND
Command is extremely important in a game. Think of current wars in the 21st Century. There's no use for 200 of the best snipers if the commander sends them to fist-fight the enemy, is there? Same thing in Stick Empires. Maneuver the controls in the game correctly, and you will be at a great advantage. For example, Electric Wall for Magikill to kill the front line, of Shield Wall for Speartons.
ARMY
As I said before, having the correct combination of soldiers will win you the battle.
There are 2 elements your army is based on.
A. Map Length
The length of a map is very important when you decide which units to use. I'm sure many of us have read DarknessLight's strategy for Giant Spammers? Yes, it does[i] work but only for long maps. On a short map, the Giants could take control of the center and kill your miners while you gather your army, and a Spearton rush would be easy to defend against because the Giants only have a short distance to travel. Yes, I will admit that using 6 Giants is not defeat able on a short map, the Giants could easily go back to Garrison to cure poison. On a LONG map however, it'd be easy for your opponent to poison you and kill your Giants as they try to walk back.
B. Enemy Army
Try to look at your opponent's army, use Tower Spawn to scout. If your enemy's army is full of Spearton, use Albowtross since Spearton can't hit them. Against Magikill behind a Shield Wall, use Giants and Archers ON A SHORT MAP. That's why it's also useful to keep part of your army, NOT the entire army in Garrison. If you keep your entire army in Garrison the enemy could kill your Miners with a hit-and-run strategy.
THEORY
This is only a theory, I've never tried it in practice against a Giant Spammer. Don't blame me if it doesn't work. Okay so here it goes:
Giants have a problem in NUMBERS since they take so much population. At best you could maybe get 6 or 7 Giants. 4 Spearton can take down a Giants, mind you but that's not what I have in mind. Since Giants are low in numbers, I was thinking of spamming SwordWrath because Giants can only get 6 of them at a time, and they load quickly. Then get all of them to rush to the statue.
3 SwordWrath can defeat a Spearton. Why? Not because of health, a single Spearton's health is more than all of them combined. No, because of NUMBERS. 3 attacking weapons can defeat a single weapon because it causes more damage. Therefore, 30 or so SwordWrath can MAYBE destroy a statue in a matter of seconds.
