but seriously, you need to give details when requesting an animation that you're willing to pay for. at the moment. all you've said is a stick fight. is there anything else that you need in the animation. cuz hey, i have plenty of stick fights already made. and sure, if you offered me $100 or something for one of those you'd get it. but im guessing thats not how its gonna work. hence why we need more details

Actually, being free is an excuse. If you look at any review of a product, the price is always considered. Yes, flash is far better, yes so is easytoon, but pivot is an awesome program to start out with because it is far easier and you can therefore focus more on movement and physics, which is insanely important.
Pivot is a fast and easy to use free program, pretty much ideal for any person just getting into animation. Many people find the layout of Flash confusing at first, it's good to have some basic experience.

In the end, it's also not the tool, but the artist, I know this has been said hundred times before, but it's true.

No because the best pivot animation doesnt stand a chance to the best flash animation =] so it is the tool :D

No, you can still create a great pivot animation if you have the skill,patience. So it's not the tool. Just like in Flash, but Flash has more possibilities, even thought it was more tools, pivot has tools that can be used to animate at the same smoothness.
