It wouldn't even surprise me if this became a common thing. I know for sure I've seen people stretch their nipples pretty far though, with gross results. I'll try to find a picture, it was a male who did it.
Edit: Confirmed male

Well hopefully it gives him god tier orgasms, otherwise he just completely wasted his time horribly deforming his nipples.

Supposedly, there was a woman who died from injecting concrete into her buttocks to make them larger if that counts as body modifications

Yeah, definite mod. There was also a group of transvestites who all got injections from a tranny who claimed to be a plastic surgeon. Turns out it was a mixture of fix-o-flat, glue and cement. These people were all so physically deformed after, it was hilarious.

I don't think that having a deformed ass is hilarious. Actually is kinda sad D:

It was hilarious because she didn't think twice about getting surgery done by someone as deformed as the other woman in an apartment without any sort of proper surgical equipment. Survival of the fittest and all that.

As a guy I've never really found those kinds of things attractive.
Not saying they aren't eye-catching, say anything about their personality or show what clique they fall into, but things like lip/nip piercings aren't necessarily turn-ons for me. They're not turn-OFFs either, mind you. But then again, I'm not too huge on physical turn-ons; if a girl looks good in her own way and we've got the emotional shit down, I could probably work with her either way. Again, this is coming from one of those deep-thinking philosophical types, but for me it's not about piercings or tats or even deformed asses, mind you. Just make it work and express yourself. If you think the way to do that's inking up your arms or putting a nail through your lip, odds are there's somebody in the world who's into that.
tl;dr
Body art is about expression. It shouldn't be an excuse to get laid.
