I'd say it wasn't so bad for a first animation. But it needs some easing though.

welcome redtech. well you seem to know how to use the program, can't say much else. Read articles, watch videos, emulation is your best friend in the beginning

Well :D this is to work with.

First, after he punches, he stops too fast. you need more easing :) make some extra frames of him slowing down :)

The same with the green guy, he hits the ground too sudden :) Try adding more frames :)

ALSO: instead of re-drawing the head every frame. Make a symbol. you simply draw the head>Rightclick on it>click convert to symbol>and name it.
Then you go to your libary, and you can find it and drag it on to the canvas very quickly :) Then you dont have to re-draw it in every frame.

needs more easing, but is good, just trust us, we are here for help ;)

thanks guys! and especially thanks juler mud for taking the time to teach me all that lol :D ill work on that stuff and post new anim soon!
