Hellooooooooooooooo everyone :3 This is my first tutorial:
SLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWMMMMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTIOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN (*Read on really deep and slow voice*)
Well, let's get started.
Q: What is slowmotion for?
A: Well, it adds power (and epicness. don't forget the epicness) to really hard hits, and also makes the animation more interesting. Also you can use it show movements that normaly are too fast for the human eye. And for moments that are pretty epic, but happen way too fast to apreciate it (Like a explotion)
Q: Is it hard to do it? D:
A: Of course not, it's pretty easy.
First, you have to draw a stickman on the initial position, like this one:

Q: But Lalo, How the F*CK are we supposed to make slow motion with that?
A: With motion tweens! :D
When you're finished with that, convert every part of the stick into a movie-clip (I use the line tool, so it easier to select every part. If you use the brush tool, draw a part like the forearm, and convert it into movie clip. And then draw another part)
It should look like this:

Then select everything, and convert it into a new movie clip. Then double click on it to enter into it.
When you're in that movie clip, select every part and right click on it, and press "distribute to layers".
When you click on that, every single element gets distributed on layers, like this:
(Note: I have Flash 8 on spanish. I'm not going to translate everything, because it's not important. LOL)

Okey, now is where the magic! begins.
Now with the free transform tool, select every part and move the white dot to the part where it joins the body, like this:

NOTE: The point on the body should be put on the lower part (The pelvis).
Then, we insert a new Key frame on the 60-70 frame, and move the parts on the position you wish. Use the onion skin to make it easier:

And then, we create the motion tween:

It should look something like this :D

Then for completing the movement, we go to the main timeline and create a new key frame on the 60-70 frame (it depends on how many frames you used on the movieclip), then move it a little on the direccion you want and create a motion tween. It should look like this (With a "BOOOOOOM" on the background :D):

Well, that's the end of it. Practice with this, and experiment with other positions :D
I hope this help you ♥
