Since all the other musicians seem to be showing new music today, I thought I might as well do the same:

Prospect vs Oceanlab - Satellite (For the Ages remix)

I spent a good 6 days on this, at least 3 hours of work per day. I haven't worked on anything harder. I need to fix up the hit that leads into the breakdown but other than that, this turned out exactly as I hoped it would.

I also spent a good hour or two purely on the mastering, and put most of the 15 synths and 30 or so percussion/effect samples I used in the mixer to refine them to what I was going for. Since I'm running off of headphones I don't know what they'll sound like to you, but I hope it sounds as good as it does to me.

It ends abruptly, sorry if that throws you off.

The repeated Tom hits, sounded like a horse galloping, they also were a bit to over powered, i.e. there is a lot of stuff going on, but they keep coming back over and dominating it, even with the vocals :[.

It was really nice after the break about half way though the song, as everything was nice and balance then again the Tom hits came in and dominated. But isn't as noticeable as everything else is melded.

Other then that it is pretty good. But the fucking Tom hits is just to striking.

More please.

I think I know what he's talking about but they aren't tom hits.

The bass thing that goes du-duuunnn-du-duuunnn-du-duuunnn-du-duuunnn-du-duuunnn that comes in at 00:41.

I don't think it fits too well either.

I made a new version that tones it down a lot, it sounds a bit better

Personally I don't think it's worth reuploading for that, since it gets pretty drowned out near the best parts anyways.
