Don't know if there are no Giant Massers left or what. It seems nobody is doing that anymore.

I just won 12 games without a single Giant user. Although my beginning pressuring may have stopped him, not absolutely sure.

Say in the comments below if you have encountered a Giant Spammer, or are one yourself.

idk, I haven't played in about 2 days but I remember the last game I played, the guy tried to giant spam. The guy was in top 90 or something and I beat him and dropped him out of the top 100. I posted it in the replay thread.

But yea, I think there are still giant spammers.

Well, I'm pretty sure since the time I made this account I've only encountered it twice.

i've encountered it 5 times till now...for the last 4 days. i beat 4 because i didn't made any mistake...

Umm... what's your rating? I haven't encountered any recently. But then again, I haven't played very much either. Anyways, this portrays the pressuring of economy, and will probably make the game shorter and simpler.

giant massing was never viable anyway, now its even less viable because it takes forever. ive seen a few of them around 1300s and easily beat them before they even had more than 1 giant out

then they're probably not good giant spammers. Usually, they make speartons and other units, and then once they gain control of the center, they spam giants. (I hope I'm right)

Nah, those are people that win the early game, then spam giants to secure their win. I believe even Daemon does that.

Giant spamming that people whine about is when you build a miner city, then mashing hotkey 9.

idk if people know, but 2 or 3 giant meatshields and 2 magikill with the speartons can kill a statue ALOT faster than pure giants. Speartons and giants are meatshields. Giants stun units rushing magikill. Magikill use dual electric walls on statue which also weaken units coming out to attack them. MUCH more effective in my eyes. So Giant massing to finish them is alright, but there are better ways.
