There should be an option to match with either users no more or less than 150 above or below your rank "match with rival," or a "match with anyone." which ranks you straight with any user online regardless of ranks.

No one wants to match with a laggy 1.2k and loses 25 rankings I guess...
but this is good for people who don't care about ranking and want to randomly play with someone...
tho I don't think many people will benefit after that system is implemented :S

Our elo system is only messed up because of a lack of players on the top and because of external factors like lag. Something like this would actually help alot.

I didn't say the matchmaking system would ignore the lag scaling system we have atm. >.>

Or to reword it, if the player has a good computer, the game will still look for users that has as good as performance as the player.

I heard that lag queue is added to this game, and so laggy players only play against laggy players in rank.

So this already makes the game runs better in general, and recently most of my matches are all very smooth, feel quite good for it.

I think I got put into lag queue after having router problems for a week :(

I've pretty much stopped playing since it takes forever to find a game, and I have better things to be doing with my time. It doesn't help that most people here don't share a remotely similar timezone to me, let alone any half-decent players.

We need some new faces.

I was on yesterday for a Good while. I gained like 100+ rating, back at 2.4k :).

that's why high ranked players play non ranked and preps.

new faces depend on old faces. More training = more new rise players.

I am not playing actively as I used to be, but I still plan to train some players before I completely lose interest.
