We all agree a change needs to happen, but what kind of change? I've proposed this, perhaps we can also throw some ideas, as I'm gonna guess the lack of responses from the devs are from them deep in thought over this.

To match the powers of the other empires for start, mid, and late game, combinations must be more costly or take more time to achieve. Personally, I wouldn't mind a building time, maybe using 2 purchased units to create a combination from the garrison. This will also push play style to focus to maximizing use of the early units, before making combinations.

This would would fix trees in respect to how long it would take to make, and where they would start from. Honestly, I think a lot of basic problems would be fixed with this. In all seriousness, there should be a test server for any suggestions. Until then, elementals are gonna romp deatchmatch.

I would fully agree with that, I hate how using the Elemental Empire makes it less likely to advance to the last stand.

I totally agree with that.
Now elemental creates a boring situation in deathmatch.
Because the only viable way for elemental player to do in EvC or EvE, is to tree spam as soon as possible
That is just a gamble and competition of timing
Many other units are underrated and very few chances to use them.
Especially for inferno and cycloids
And the only viable way to beat elemental is albow or eclipsor mass, which is impossible for elemental players to deal with


It would be much better if the units can be balanced and allow players to make good use of every unit

After watching replays from wyzdm I rlly feel elementals is op in dm...

first, at the beginning Elementals can spam earths in a rlly short period of time (4 sec bro...)
they can rlly overwhelm order/chaos since there is no cheap+fast training units for both empire
plus the earth's stun ability, it is even worse

second, from one of the replays we know that instant 5-bars healing for the water is rlly pissing Rain off
where he attempted to kill a tree, when the tree was dying wyzdm just healed it with a water and yea,
then Rain just said gg and surrendered

so yea, surely we should nerf this
e.g. combination takes time? Cool down for earth training? need more mana for combining?
and add an early defence structure for Elemental plz

What exactly do we nerf? Spawn time for earth? Water's heals? Treeture?



Saw your edit. E takes 100 mana to combine.

what I suggest is :

nerf the tree , maybe increase the mana for getting a tree, or additional time for combination

buff inferno and cycloid , make the spell faster,more health, and allow cycloid to have a short cool down of hurricane. To prevent all killed by flying units kiting from order or chaos.
Also make blinding gate last forever,able to build two, and have a health bar, which works the same as turret and miner wall of order and chaos.

And ghost of elemental should be able to attack flying units like giants

Hue...today i played SE again :3 thought only against CPUs..but well, what should i say: Did they buff Order?!? I somehow find it really really easy to beat insane CPU...and its somehow rly easy. In regular and DM matches.... (lol, I am actually pretty noob at DM, cause I didnt rly play it...)
Also...cant wait for Elemental CPUs :3

no the cpu just doesnt know how to micro or garrison its units.
it also doent seem to know that my skill level is beyond insane ;p

Also..I should change my DM strat a bit...actually, i dont really know how to play DM >_<
I do 2 spear, 2 albow, miner, meric, shield wall + bash, miner hustle...then I turtle O_O

Is it just me or are the amount of players starting to reduce? I know there was less when I began playing again, but the number of players seems to be more slowly decreasing. Are the recent updates that bad?

Also I'm aware there was a lot more when I started playing for the first time.

Perhaps time zone problem

I was always thinking that there are only roughly 200-300 people playing SE around the world since there are too many kids and ragers around the world
but later someone told me that in the American time there were like 1000 players online :P
