Order can move the archers back as the wings come forward to continue with attacking them at an angle. If the wings persist then the archers can just keep running too, and they'll have a head start.

I love how you can use mlg physics to explain your idea

Man, that stinks... it basically just about guarantees insta wins for chaos wing massers.... all they have to do is advance on top of order archers and death ensues, no matter how badly you outplayed them

lol? wtf archers usually win in a legit game.

But um... it doesn't work this way... as the archers retreat, order loses any protection from their spearton shield walled...and the archers get rekted...

So I can basically be totally crushing a chaos player like earlier in early dm after I ninja his support units... and then take center...and if he masses wings, it is very very hard to not lose... I have had matches where I killed 9 chaos units for every one order and still lost because the wing massing is so OP
No, because the archers should outnumber the wings almost 2 to 1 and they'll get in a hit before they have to back away from protection of their spears. The archers will kill off the wings. You can also move your spears back to cover for your archers as well.

Not with the number of players running pings in the 300-700 range (or higher)... a multi second delay means dead archers and chaos cheese victories...

Hence why lag issues relate back to game and empire balance... and people exploiting them is so annoying...
Not going to TZ=you do nothing

got it xdddddddddd
very logic indeed

p.s. dat wall of deep texts is so professional
OMFG

moar p.s. it is nice to have you guys in this wonderful community

Only if you rank

@azxc

xdddddddddddddddd nice logic
Only if you rank?

Um... isn't that the main match type people play? Custom matches get boring quickly...

I have a job and am still able to play se. It's all about time management. Even then, this has nothing to do with what anyone said about anything either, so why have you brought it up?

Jeez. If you're playing in a 300+ ping match your macro needs to fit with that. Get a mage and then you can cheese the wings because they literally won't be able to dodge your mage spells in that lag. Don't spam squishy units in a laggy match.
Indeed, you can get a mage... and watch it get rekt by a medusa or marrow...

Especially since it appears ninjas have a targeting issue, especially in laggy matches, where they will hang up and not strike for an extended period...

You can bring out a Mage in response to wing mass before Chaos brings out a Medusa. Wings cost a lot of gold, massing them makes rushing out a Medusa quite hard. If later in you can bring out a ninja in response to that Medusa.

If Chaos has a Marrow you can get off 1 spell before the reap animation takes your mage, meaning you can poison the whole wing army, which should ensure you win an archer/wing battle.
I think replays show, it just doesn't work the way you outline below... poison does nominal damage to chaos, since they auto en mass heal from it and their passive healing on top of the quick wear off makes poison on wing mass relatively ineffective, unless order can poison then pressure, which is not always possible.

Poison doesn't need to do much, it just needs to offset the slight advantage wing mass may have over archer mass (if Order is behind) so the archers win in a trade if the wings dive on the archers after the poison.
ello there. ;o
