And I feel like you can tell people that your making an animation, just don't put a preview or show what you have so far. That's what screws most people over.

View Profile I totally agree with this thread ... Half the time .. i wasnt able to finish anytime whcih is always because i told people about "What was going to be in it" and procrastinated alot.. I apperciate this ... your probably the only one whose ever pointed this out to me..

View Profile I did find, that when I started showing people my animation in its early stages, that it almost gives you that release or reward you are looking for. From that point on, its hard to continue with the animation because you've already gotten that false sense of accomplishment.
This is a serious effect to completed projects and is the major culprit among many who question why they cannot create full length animations. Not all, but most.
