Hi guys.
After almost 12 hours of waiting for mods to approve my posts, I decided to recreated the post here.
I belive that this is the correct forum for it but, please let me know if it isn't.

I'm working on a stick brawler MMORPG.
The game will focus on PVP and CO-OP PVE.
Game mechanics will be something like the old "Little Fighter 2" game but with enchanted graphics and mechanics (see link in the end of the post).
A special feature that I'm working on is an editor that will allow the users to create their own martial art and animations using a "Pose Editor" that I will release.
The users will save their animation as a file and upload it to the forum, if we think it is good, I will import it to the server for all users to use it. The creator will be considered as the Master of his own martial art.
Here's some pictures of the Pose Editor:

As for the progress, I will create a blog that will update regularly but for now:
the game server is finished, connection with multiple clients (Including the client itself) is done.
The ragdoll for the players is almost finished (still ponder how to draw the hands and feet).
There is much to do, but the hard phase has past.

The game was intended to be a platformer but I realized how much more fun it will be as a depth side-scroller like LF2.
Here's a link for those who don't know what LF2 is:

I would love to know what does the greatest community of Stick figures have to think about such game.
What would make such game a great game, and what are your expectations from such game?

Any comment is welcomed and any suggestion will be considered.

Thanks,
Zehevi.

And you're doing this whole project alone? It sounds VERY ambitious, but if you can pull off so much of it already, then I'm definitely interested.

Still, it sounds like it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a couple of animators to make some default characters (for those who don't feel like animating their own attacks and stuff). What program are you using to make this?

I won't be needing animators, since the characters would be ragdolls which animated through my program.
Animating in my program is easier then anything you guys have ever seen, but it is also limited to the same ragdoll.
I'm using C++ , GM and some JS.

I know where I'm going to, I have over 11 years of experience, pulling this project together would be hard but not impossible.

Thanks for the reply.

the game sounds promising, but "MMORPG" doesn't sound to me like an appropriate description if it's going to be anything like the Little Fighter 2 game you posted. "multiplayer online brawler" would be more accurate.

The game will have an RPG elements and that is why it fits in the MMORPG category.

Thanks for the comments.

well i can understand that, but is it a massive, multiplayer, online rpg, or a multiplayer rpg? there's a pretty big difference between the two genres, and from your description it sounds more like the latter.

It is first an Massive Multiplayer Online Brawler and then an RPG, you got that right.
I'll just call it MMOBRPG :p

Anyways,
I've thought about it over and I think of making it a cartoonish 3D after all, including the stick figures.
What do you guys think? will a cartoonish 3D stick brawler would look better then a 2D one?

Personally, I think a 2D cartoony one would be better.

Also, will you be able to recolor your stickman and add stuff other than the ragdoll? It would be amazing if you could post a demo of like a character animation creation menu.

Thanks for the comment.
In one way or another I'm gonna rewrite my animation program,
it does matter whether it's 2D or 3D, that is why I was asking this in first place.
There is no doubt that changing the color of your stick and wearing equipment can be awsome, and it will be a part of my game. It doesn't matter though if game is 2D or 3D, this option will be availible.
