On short maps you want to go with swordwrath and apply pressure forcing them to make bombers. Space your units and if you killed enough cats you're alright. The early pressure will allow yourself to match the economy to theirs.
Now onto the midgame. Albowtross are expensive and take longer to queue (over wingdoms). If you pressure him very well in the start, perhaps, as he may not had the time with the economy to make a wingdom, but you want to stay grounded first. A spearton for more base pressure or ground archers work, but again, cats shielding bombers is a liable threat. Personally, I'd play defensively: make a wall (close to the center as you can) and with a few ground archers, hold him off and keep boosting that economy. You can either go for a ninja or save for a mix of ground archers and speartons for meatshields. Depending on how you were able to place your miner wall well determine if you also have the center. If you do have center, get a ghost, and put archers behind it.
There are a few ways to do this, but those are some ideas coming from someone who can play both (and other high ranking players as either).
