Let me tell you right now, making a few lines of code to break things is not super difficult to do. Brute forcers are not that difficult to do. Removing fog of war was probably just a deletion of the image used to hide things in fog of war.

If Max made, hmm, a bot that could beat Insane AI, now that would be good coding skill. Not only that, but it would be constructive for once.

Oh please. A bot would never be smart enough to take down any 2k player. The existing AI should show you the difficulties in that pretty well. Hell, I'd happily surrender my elo to a bot that doesn't cheat that could compete with me.

Well.. it would have to cheat.. somewhat, it would react to what you are building. For example, if you go magikill the bot knows to go ninja with shinobi. Personally that would be pretty cool to see. Or perhaps... something that actually garrisons when it is poisoned?

Well unless the bot used exploits, it would know no more than any human player would. So it would be utterly synonymous with a really consistent human player who doesn't speak.
