I have been going through quite a lot recently, but I am trying to overcome it by thinking about the positives.
I want to know what kind of stress through problems you are having?
I don't know if this thread has been made before but i just want to know what you are currently feeling now.

fighting to overcome, suppress, or ignore stress will just make it worse. accept that stress is there. watch the stress, use it as an experience to learn from. aim to understand the stress. for example, are external forces really causing it, or are you just reacting negatively and making your own stress?
in understanding your stress, stress will disappear on its own.

I get stressed over my life and work not yielding the results I like. I get stressed because of relationship problems at times.

I was recently stressed out with my relationship myself. I decided to be honest and tell her how I was feeling. After we talked, she was very understanding and made me feel better, we got to understand each other about things that were bothering the both of us. Had I kept it inside, I would had played the game to see how far it would go... We all know it was going to end real bad. If the stress is caused by someone else, talking things out seems to work for me. If this is relevant to your situation, I hope my experience helped, or at least the consonance that it will in time go away.
@Scarecrow I agree with you. Whenever i fight a thought, guess what? it wins...
@Nish,
I feel you bro. I made a decision in that department. I told myself, mannn, I may not have all I want yet, so while I work to get where I want to be, I won't give a single fuck to the obstacles, because no matter how much I stress, I still have to overcome them lol. So lets do that calmly and peaceful. My main problem is debt... So, Fuck that... I don't have $ now, and until then they can suck a big dick if they don't understand lol.

I can't decide what to do next, go study in a uni or take some free time and go on a pilgrimage. Making big decisions always stress me out. inb4 having to choose something is a burden to me and most of the time stresses me out.

You actually sound sensible, how old are you?
Guys, I think generally all stress is greatly reduced if you have some kind of action plan, like a rough map. It works for relationships, money, everything. It is important not to keep the plan TOO rigid because you could get stressed if you derail. I think you should have a broad view of life, kind of like a road. You can veer off the road, stop by to smell flowers, take a nap, but if you ever feel lost, you can always get back to the road and keep traveling straight.

Go to fucking Uni. If it doesn't work out, go on your pilgrimage. You can go to pilgrimage whenever you want, but go to college when the time is right. Now.

I guess you're right. This whole pilgrimage idea is probably just my pussy side saying "Run away from all your troubles ,that will be cash". I'm thinking I won't even want to do it when I will have my life sorted out, but currently, when I'm feeling lost as fuck it seems like a good idea.

College is a great place to go when you are feeling lost. Don't think of it as an extended version of school. It is your chance to interact with a shitload of different people, from different background and different point of view. There is no greater pilgrimage than going to college. My attempt at University was a spectacular academic and financial failure, but I gained more knowledge, had more fun, fucked more girls, did more drugs, guzzled more bottles, fought more thugs, broke more rules, had more discussions and raised more hell than I ever could have without going to college.

bahahaha. it seems you have your head on straight. i'd recommend you complete some degree of uni course just to keep those around you happy. you don't need to be in any hurry to go on a pilgrimage, and a pilgrimage in itself is not necessarily necessary for hapiness or spiritual enlightenment.
i can definitely see that you have realized the blatant flaws in our current societal way of life, though.
personally, my plan is to finish a degree that will be practical and useful to me, work for a few years to pay off that degree, and repay my parents to an extent, then join a (buddhist?) monastery as a non-religious seeker until i discover my true self. whatever happens after that doesn't require planning. obviously this is a journey of many years, so i've found ways to keep my interest going; books.
i can recommend some related reading material for you if you like. enough to last you several years if you pace yourself casually.

wanting to understand who you are takes great courage. don't ever feel that you're becoming an escapist because of it. our society is ridiculous, but it's painful for us to realize just how bad the situation is. just make sure you understand what you are feeling before you act on it... if you go on a pilgrimage without really understanding what you're after, the whole thing will be a waste of time, and afterwards you'll be finished and wondering what the point of it was.

Scarecrow... were you always like this? I remember you being far more un-buddhist in the past.

I was stressed out a lot of the time before because I live with just my mother and we needed more money than she could earn alone, so I worked about 2-3 nights a week, about 11pm - 4am (along with school, wasn't I lucky?) to earn extra money, I recently quit my job and my mother's had a promotion and I don't need to work anymore. My life is still a litte stressful here and there, but it's a lot better than it was before.

currently I'm stressed at trying to juggle school and animation all at once, which isn't really working out all too well, not to mention that I have some other important things that I must do > _ >

I completely understand. I love Buddhist despite the fact that I disagree with some of their beliefs. Their like stoners, except they don't get high
I personally get stressed from moronic drama at high school. Is it really that difficult to NOT talk about dating and sex for more than ten minutes. Is that how shallow teenage society is? Im almost ashamed that im a teen, I want to be 20 so I can not be grouped with all the idiotic, sex driven, sport enthusiasts that simply want to be accepted by their peers by playing beer pong and banging sluts. Pathetic.
