You're lying. Goku has been beaten tons of times in the anime. You are making him out to be invincible when he has died over 5 times before. Superman has never died. He has gone against people who eat whole universes and won. He has a weakness and that makes him more realistic. The fact is that superman cant be beat by regular fists, and goku always gets beat by regular fists. And you also act like goku can just manifest tons of kryptonite. The planet krypton exploded sending small fragments of kryptonite scattered across the expanse of the universe, it would be next to impossible to find any of that. The main bad guys usually find it out of luck, and they still get slaughtered.
The stupid thing about DBZ is that they get so stupidly strong that they start dealing with infinite numbers, Id much rather go with a realistic(in the sense of super-heroes) superhero like superman who actually has human emotions than robots who go up to level 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 super sayain only to be beat by another guy who can go up ten levels more in the next episode.

You know, if you like Goku so much, you should know that he doesn't actually teleport. He's just moving really fast. The only time Goku teleports is when he does his "Instant Transmition" technique. So, realizing this, Superman can move as fast as Goku would when he "teleports". And that scenario was pretty stupid. When last I checked, Goku can't breath in space. Superman can. When Superman knocked Goku into the moon, that would've been it for him.

But when it all boils down, I think Goku's lame and a completely unbalanced character while Superman, I don't really like that much, but he's at least a more well rounded character. And either way, they both lost out to Optimus Prime in terms of coolness. The end.

Akira Toriyama made Goku seem like an out of the world ultra strong mother****er so there's no doubt that he'd win. He spiced up Goku so much that compared to any superhero or anime character, he'd be the obvious pick to win.
Let's say you pick the Naruto anime or something and you choose Itachi. Itachi vs. Goku. Okay, what has Goku withstood in the past in DBZ? A lot of ****ing ab crushing punches and he's probably bled over a hundred gallons of blood and he's STILL alive. Itachi is just a little ninja, killing under orders. Now think, who do you think would win? Goku can ****ing teleport again and again, no matter how much times Itachi detects Goku, he'll fail sooner or later and will be knocked the **** out.
Optimus Prime is obviously much cooler than anything, but OP vs. Goku is another retarded question. Optimus Prime shoots and Goku can ****ing teleport behind Optimus Prime and rip it's mechanical head off easy. Another win for our constipated hero.

From the battles you've seen of each character in their respective shows, Goku has shown a lot more brute force than Superman.
You can't take two characters from two different worlds and pit them in a battle. Some directors/artists really go out of their way to create invincible characters. Goku has everything man, he's the ideal mega human.

Lol where have you been? Goku's died, like, five times during the course of the DBZ series. The only reason he's still alive is because he gets his friends to gather up some magic dragon testicles to give him an extra "man" like in Mario. In fact, he's not even alive anymore because they used the dragon gonads too much and now they're on hiatus from it for a millennium, or something. Superman hasn't died at all. And using a Naruto character as an example is really useless since all the Naruto characters are pussies. Especially when they don't have any powers or match the strength of Goku or Superman.

This is true. Except for that last statement. Since these aren't actually real life scenarios, the creators of these shows will put whatever odds they can in the favor of the good guy in order for him to come out on top. Spazz stuff has a big point, and yes in several episodes, I have seen goku stand still while bullets reflect of him (almost almost certain =p ALMOST pretty damn sure tho) as I may say, as well as swords. a bullet does totally no damage to goku, since his body is basicly made of ****ing steel and more, when it comes to just someone who is just not strong.
I know he moves fast, but I was talking about instant translocation, when talking about the universe thing. he can do that pretty damn quick, like he did at the movie vs cooler, he like did that ever second. Stuff never made that point. He never even said anything about Goku deflecting bullets. And I haven't heard of Goku getting show at and deflecting the bullets with nothing more than his own body, so please provide a link or an episode name to prove this. I've seen Goku grab a sword and break it with his bear hands, but a bullet moves considerably faster than anyone can swing a sword.
And Instant Transmission would be useless in a fight unless Goku was using it to run away. What's the point of using a teleportation technique that can take you light years and light years from the point you currently are if you're just going to use it to pop up behind someone?
And stop saying the "Superman has strong punches and a laser beam". Just because he isn't practically a Swiss Army knife like Goku doesn't mean he's more powerful. Superman's "laser beam" can slice anything in half. How are you so sure that Goku's transformations would make him stronger than Superman? Have you seen Goku fight Superman before? All you have to go on is who they've fought and what they've been up against. I'll say it again, Superman has fought villains that could devour whole universes. All Goku has fought are robots and demons and aliens who manage to kill everyone on Earth. If Goku was so unstoppable, he'd be able to stop them from killing everyone on the planet and without dying. All Goku has is a little light show. Superman has sheer brute force and speed combined in one package.
