There are sexual predators on My Space and they could track kids down.
My Space has been on the news a few times because of predators looking
for kids.So ask yourself is My Space ok for kids.

First off, Myspace is one word..

Second off, depends. Not all kids are idiotic enough to put their address, real age, phone number, etc. A predator would most likely need access to the page to get the info, but if the kid's smart enough to make it a private page, where only their friends could talk to them and see their profile, then chance the of a predator getting info would be reduced.

People who think myspace has a lot of predators and that if you go on it you will be stalked or something are idiots. When something happens on the news, they assume it's a common occurance. When they see that a lot of muggings happen in Los Angelos, they assume that they woulg get mugged there.

The fact is, there have only been a few people targeted by a predator on myspace, and all of them were idiots who posted loads of personal information. Not only that, but there are MILLIONS of users on myspace. Probably less than .001 % are sexual predators, and probably only .0001 percent are going to actually attack someone on myspace.

a 3,000,000 to 1 ratio isn't a very big chance, and it is irresponsible and stupid to try to avoid or take down the site for that sort of a number.

Any site that has a large underaged userbase has a risk of having members attacked by predators. But even still, it's not like a sexual predator will actually come to your house and rape you because you happened to make an account. The only reason anyone's gotten attacked by someone on Myspace is because they were stupid enough to give all of their personal information to some guy they don't even know. And if anyone's that dumb, they pretty much deserve it.

The only reason Myspace wouldn't be safe for kids is because of the risk of epilepsy to be brought on from looking at some whore's "glitter-graphic" stricken profile.

Is Myspace ok for kids? Well, is Bebo ok for kids? Is facebook ok for kids? It's just like what everybody is saying. If you're dumb enough to put out all your info out there then that's their fault. And "kids" aren't supposed to have myspace pages anyway. It's the stupid ass 12-14 year olds that have myspace pages. Myspace is technically for 15/16 and up.
