Hi, it’s been a while, but here’s my latest Paint Stick War scene!
It’s a bit larger than usual and with more easter eggs.
As usual you can read the story and comment on my blog.

I'd love to hear what you guys think.
It took me a while to complete it. :-)

Enjoy!

Standards have changed, but this is still very enjoyable.

Unfortunately MS Paint is the only tool I have available here at work.

Of course, I never said it was bad, in fact, you're the only good MS Paint user I know that makes this kind of awesome art. Let's admit it, we all drew war-style stickfigures battling at school when we were kids, didn't we?

Aaah the years I've wasted... :)

I'm glad you enjoy it!
I find it difficult to find an audience because what I do is very specific.
It's not really pixel art and not really a comic either. And when I mention "stick war" somewhere, ppl usually assume it's some crappy paint drawing made in 30 mins :(

Woah, I can see that you put a LOT of effort into this! I love the little details and easter eggs you put into it, good job :)
Wish I was as good as you with MS paint... :c

Thanks Sharp!
Nice to see you appreciate the details.

Consistency is key.
You have to make sure every stick has the same size head and roughly the same height. Off course they should be able to fit through the doorways and corridors.

You should try it, just start small and zoom in a lot!

Even though this isn't the agreed platform of software, I do feel that I still enjoy its detail and effort displayed. Well done man! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, if this is your preferred medium ( and you're good at it ,) 'stick' with it!

I've always kept an eye on hardatwork, he never fails to bring something impressive from a low demand program.
Awesome job.

Oh, yea, this.

Also, i would like to see some of your artworks with some shading, but since you put much effort and time on them, don't have worry about it. C:
