Joe Bell,
In response to your first question:
There are several other sources of information about deductive reasoning. There are a few books written on the subject. Here are two links:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-The-Art-of-Deduction-A-Sherlock-Holmes-Collection-by-Hannah-Rogers-Perfect-/140935261766?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item20d0656e46

Alternatively, here are links to some websites with info about the subject:

In response to your second question,
Yes, I am 15. Is there something unusual about that?
And, now, in response to your deductions:
Yes, the pictures were taken in a house. But, they are not meant to be displayed. You initial deduction that the fruits were meant to be consumed was correct.
I would like to commend you on noticing the incongruity in how the starfruit was prepared/sliced. That is is an important detail. I would like to point out that the picture quality may be an important detail. What can you deduce from the picture quality of the images? Also, the URL of both of the images stems from Facebook. What would that mean about the pictures?
Now, after you have thought about and answered the questions/details in the paragraph before this, tell me, what can you deduce about the person who took these pictures?
Oh, and by the way,
do not under any circumstances try to look up the pictures' source pages, or any other details of that nature. That would be cheating. You should only be gathering information about the pictures based on looking at them, and only when I give permission, you can research specific things about the images.
Good luck, and keep up the good work.
