Well, if their micro is good enough, they have three spells at their disposal, all of which can obliterate swords.
My personal favorite is:
at a distance: poison
rapidly approaching: electric wall right in front of wizard
attacking the mage: one blast to kill them all

Personally, whenever I use Magikill, I either spam Giants or have a Shield Wall.

Well, yea, but I always find Miner Walls great for defending mid.

eheehe i beat a swordwrath rage rusher with rly bad micro, with a 3 albows 2 magikills and 4 spears oh and 2 walls

2 Walls and 3 Castle Archers should do the trick for pure SwordWrath army.

Archidon have even less health. You need at least 2 Tanks against 3 Castle Archers.
