And Zero, I'm just really trying to improve. Thanks for catching that.

That you are.

We animators should get out of our comfort zone and experiment. This will allow us to expand our knowledge and be generally better. Keep it up!

Sounds pretty good.

I'll get to it. Also, I know you know but the front page hasn't been updated yet.

First things first, try not to do this. It just doesn't suit you. Okay, advice time:

1.) When making something look more forceful, the anticipation should be longer but reasonable.
Image

2.) The length of the anticipation to the release of the force should be kept to a minimal. Velocity is acted upon force, so the more force there is, the faster it goes.
Image

3.) Impacts should be prolonged, as if it were a slow motion.
Image

4.) Exaggerate. The biggest factor that I could think of when creating something that feels like a truck just ran you over is exaggeration. Okay, so you have a punch. Normally, it would make someone stagger if it lands. Now, exaggerate it. Make the guy fly on the opposite direction as if a rocket just stabbed him.
Image

5.) Effects, BG's, SFX, and others also add up, depending on how you use them.
Image

Remember, execution is crucial. How fast or how slow it goes depends entirely on this. Safety line is that, it shouldn't be too slow to the point that the viewers will get bored. It is not necessary that SLOW MOVING = FORCE. Build up is what's needed here.

We should have a meeting. IRC or Skype maybe? To discuss the upcoming collab of course with Phoenix.

I'm always in IRC except this week and the upcoming weeks. Skype is a no-no for me.

It's my finals week and I'm focusing on my studies(especially on my projects) a whole lot. Just PM me when we'll discuss.
