Name: Fr0st, the frozen archer
AKA: Master of Archers
- Abilities:
Fr0st uses a bow and arrows to fight. He rarely misses his target. Also, he has 5 special arrows (if he uses them in battle, after the battle is finished, he goes to make some until he has 5, read Story to find out why he can only use 5 at a time) called “frozen arrows” which, if hit by, will freeze the victim’s body for a short time, because the victim’s body heat will melt it quickly. Fr0st has very fast reflexes for dodging moves. If his opponent manages to get close, Fr0st has a tiny dagger that he uses to defend himself with. Even though he runs slowly, he has a lot of endurance.
- Weaknesses:
Fr0st is very slow in terms of running, and he can’t shoot with his bow properly once his opponent gets too close. Fr0st has no armor, and most weapons can severely injure him if hit, and his tiny dagger is practically useless as Fr0st has no idea how to use it, and will only hit if he is extremely lucky and the opponent sucks. He is not invincible or anything like that, his body is like a normal human's. Also, his magical arrows do not injure, they only freeze the target, and only the tip of the arrow has the ability to freeze on touch.
- About/Story:
Once upon a time, in a world called Inamorta, Fr0st was just a lonely archidon (what people call archers in Inamorta) who didn’t have many friends. Fr0st was lonely because he was so good that everyone else was very jealous of him, even the other soldiers of different sections. One day, Fr0st was ordered to go assassinate a rebel Magikill (Inamortan term for mage). Unfortunately, Magikills were the deadliest enemies of archidons and Fr0st was severely injured. Instead of showing compassion, his leaders banished him because he failed his mission.
Fr0st hid in a forest along the border of Inamorta and healed his body. Some days after he was healed, he was out hunting and discovered that some of the Magikill’s magic had transferred into him, because some of his arrows froze his target for a few seconds. At first, he was confused, but when he looked closely at his arrows, he saw that some of them had a bluish tinge on them. He realized that these arrows had been with him when he was hit by the Magikill, and had magical powers.
He wondered if he could forge more of these special arrows. He went south, to where the forges were, and stole some normal metal. He forged some arrows and focused on putting magic into them, and the first 5 worked with magic, but after that he was exhausted and couldn’t create any more, until he rested for quite a long time.
Several years later, he was wandering all across the world, not afraid of much thanks to his special arrows and his skill as an archer (he had long ago shed his Inamortan title, archidon). He was getting bored of this life, and decided to become a gladiator and fight against other skilled people. He had heard of many places like that, but the one he heard uttered the most was wRHG. After asking around, he found out where wRHG was, and went on his way to a new future…
- Personality:
After his banishment, Fr0st became a peaceful person who doesn’t like killing (he only kills animals for food), but he is quite social. He talks a lot when he fights.
- Appearance:
Fr0st is a male of 18 years old. He is completely dressed in black, including his quiver and arrows, except for the blue tinge on his magical arrows. His bow is a longbow. He is bald, with no facial hair, and he is quite fit (due to using a bow so much), except for his legs. He is 5’9”.
- Demo:
One day, Fr0st was hunting in the forest when he was attacked by 5 bandits. But Fr0st saw them from far away, so they couldn’t ambush him. Since Fr0st realized he was too slow to outrun them, he just stood and waited for them to come to him.
Once they got within range, their leader, Jack, talked to Fr0st.
-"What do you think you're doing? This is my forest, and I don't appreciate you stealing my animals. But I suppose we can relieve you of your weapons, they would sell for a good price..."
But Fr0st didn't wait for them to attack. He quickly shot them each with a magical arrow, and they all froze. Before they could unfreeze, Fr0st had already disarmed them all, except for Jack. The disarmed thugs were cowards without a weapon, and just stood there dumbly. But Jack, who still had a knife, attacked Fr0st furiously. But Fr0st just stood there, dodging his attacks. Sometimes Fr0st tried to use his dagger, but it always missed. Slowly, Jack was tiring with no signs of the same for Fr0st. When Jack was too tired, Fr0st disarmed him, then rummaged in their packs.
In Jack’s “Pack of Stolen Things”, Fr0st found a long piece of rope. He wasn’t sure why Jack had stolen rope, but it was a good rope nonetheless. Using his dagger, Fr0st cut the rope into five pieces, while keeping an eye on the thugs, who he had threatened to shoot and kill if they moved. After he was done, he tied them all up and made sure they had no weapons, and then went to find some metal, as he needed to forge some more magical arrows. He realized they could probably escape sooner or later, but he figured that if without weapons, they wouldn’t be any harm to other travelers.
A few days later, Fr0st went back to check on the thugs, but they weren’t there, nor was Fr0st expecting them to be. Thankfully but a little unsettlingly, Fr0st checked in all of the surrounding villages and towns, but there was no sign of them anywhere. Fr0st wondered what had happened to them. Even though it was good that there were no thefts or robberies, he suspected that something strange had happened to his victims...
