people still use flash 8 mostly because of shit like, "We only take flash 8." It's hard to participate in community projects (e.g. collabs, joints, pass-it-on stuff, etc.) if you have the latest version.

The only thing in flash 8 is the bigger brush size. I don't even think that's a good reason for using an outdated software.

But whatever goodluck with this. I hope I see more epic animations because of this "initiative."

This seems like a good idea. I guess this was why most of the tutorials were getting moved to the trash. Will the tutorials be posted in the tutorials section when they are posted on YT?

Also, on the flash 8 thing, some people just can't get in the now.

I'm tempted to animate something just to get criticism from ArchAngel. This is a good idea, I hope it works.

It's a good idea, but kind of depressing that it is needed and not just expected from everyone.

People still use Flash 8 becaus its a cheap software and it doesn't require much of your computer. Plus, the big brush sizes. If I was using a PC and not a macbook 10.8, wich only allowes newer softwares, I would be using flash 8.

There you go. So that's enough of that.

Zed recommended I come here.

I'm aiming to help people achieve something specific which they can't do, rather than improving the quality of what they already can do.

The post I had made yesterday so you can get a grasp on what I'm saying;

I'm glad you guys liked my initiative to continue this idea, remember if you do not have a preference, your file should be named like:
None_User

Rawgreen, I will now take my time to read your thread.
Zed, I really hope you do fall into your temptations, lol.

Is there something that I'm missing?

Why is it called "The Tutorial Team" when what you guys are doing is reviewing and critiquing finished works? (At least that's what I got from reading the first post.)
Aren't tutorials supposed to be general instructions on how to do something properly?

Or are you guys planning on making tutorial videos as well?

Also, why only limit this to animation?

This seems like that thing that Terkoiz used to do.

I called it tutorial team cause I couldnt come up with a better name.
Sorreh~

Im planning on uploading a series of tutorials as videos to that channel, but first I want to leave this established.

What other disciplines would you like to extend this to? would you participate in this if it extended to other disciplines?

This is an initiative to continue terkoiz's flash criticism series, did I forget to put that on the front page?
I dont think so...
[Edit]
Yes I did forget, sorry again.
