I think a mod can only move threads between two sections when they have mod powers over both. Not 100% sure because I was never a section mod, but I remember there being some kind of smallprint in the Move Thread screen.

I need to learn how to do smoke and explosions. I can do particle explosions pretty well, but I mean long lasting smoke and the after smoke of a huge explosion. If someone could link me to a good tutorial that would be good. And not Terqoiz's, iv seen that and its not what I want.

The effect is called masking, you can look it up on youtube for in-depth tutorials. But here's one i just did relly quickly:

you can change the layers into masks by just right clicking on them.

I have, with no luck. I would like to find a frame by frame guide as to how to make it slow down and not look retarded. Heres an example as to what I want to learn.



Look at 8:20 to 8:28 or so. I don't understand how to make it loop or look smooth in anyway. Ill continue looking for a good tutorial on it, but I was just wondering if any of you knew of one.
