HOW DO I BECUM A H4XZORZ?

Its so annoying. sticky.

I agree with you 100% on your views on why new comers can't follow simple rules and show some common sense while in the forum. Having joined this site last Sunday, I've had no problems adapting to this environment; I've read the FAQs, browsed around the site to see what people are like, and made sure that I would be committed once I joined - I even take the time, when I post new threads and comments, to make sure my sentences and paragraphs are grammatically correct so others won't be confussed on my lack of sentence structure.

All I have to say - not singling anyone out -is that some people - preferably new comers who act like noobs, don't take the time to learn about the site and only concentrate on being "cool" and doing all the other exciting things people are doing without learning the ropes; furthermore, they complain when people label them noobs and proceed to curse everyone out so they can hear their unintelligent self even more. I say give them two chances and then ban them for good - that'll teach them and future members how to behave.

Therein lies the problem - newcomers typically do not learn about the site history or even read the rules, because they're generally seven-year olds on sugar highs who are so excited to "post post post" their "crap crap crap" animations and "art" that they can't use "punctuation" or "egregious quotes" correctly. Newcomers don't read the rules, or learn about the site until a good while after they join; by doing that all we do is drive off members and create annoying spammers.

By the way, how old are you exactly? ._.

He is probably some seven year old that actually can type. I agree though I think I am partly the cause of this shit.

I wish, then I would have more free time compared to what little I have now. I'm actually nineteen years old with a fair amount of common sense and good writing skills.

Am I the oldest person here? It seems a lot of people keep asking me who I am?

The problem is, most noobs won't ever see this until they've posted a few useless threads. And if every newbie does it, then this will forever be a problem.

I think you should MAKE every member read the rules, and ban them the first time they infract.

Yeah, you rank pretty high on the age and maturity scales for this forum. Most of the people here are literally ten years old (not legal if you read the sign-up rules) and thus usually have a partially hydrogenated corn syrup-induced brain trauma at all times. Plus we have a lot of people that I wish would act more mature, such as Ash, and that would really help the forum, but I guess trolling everywhere is more fun.

Stick around please. We need some maturity and common sense among all these drama queens.

I like Xele's idea. We should enforce the rules so hard on the people with 100 or less posts. Unless proven mature and not stupid.

Offtopic: Whenever I hear your name, Smashdood, I think of like hitler, or some old important dude that no one cares about. Winston Churchill for example.

I repeat, that would kill the site's growth. You have to teach them to not be nubs, they won't learn by bannation.

Offtopic: Super Smash Bros. 64 is old and important, and has several dudes in it. Coincidence? You decide.

To an extent, this could back fire greatly: with one slight mistake, a new person can be banned just like that. What does that situation say about the banned person and the forum: too strict of a forum or people who are just plain dumb? I think in the most part, everyone should be given a fair chance - including one mistake (depending on how big or dumb it is). You have to take into consideration that a lot of people are not going to read the rules, but just browse the site and yearn to be apart of it. Take me for instance, I could have done the same and asked people annoying questions left and right: how do you make those cool movies and games? So, what makes me different compared to the next new comer -I took the liberty to read the rules.

To conclude this, all I am saying is give them a single chance. Tell them of their mistake(s) and if it happens again, they'll be banned for a number of days or permanently - depending on the Moderator.

Someone tell zulu to force members with 100 posts or less to be redirected to either the rules page or this page when they log on.
