I recently bought chaos but cannot figure out how to beat swordwarth spammers. I try cats and they always seem to get sword to fast and the pull back strategy doesn't work for me. When I throw in bombers they never seem to be effective. The swords push me back so fast I can't even buy tower archer. And when I try to bomb their miners at begaining then they attack my miners and force them home ruining my economy and then buy tower arch to kill bombers...

Any suggestions, or new starting strategy?

Bombers should work (as long as you have good micro). Please be more specific about bombers "not working".

It's not the bombers fault its just that I don't know how to command them well. Like if I start with 3 of them and 1 miner. Enemy starts with like 3 sword, then they attack my miners, and bombs go to their miners which are already inside. Then they get tower archer and 1 of my bombers is dead and then they cant kill anything. Try: 2 crawlers 2 miners. All miners on gold. With the next 2 gold incomes, buy 2 bombers. Then build your way up. IF he uses swords, blow the swords up. (if they survive, use crawlers)

swordwrath spammers huh? What I do is 2 crawlers and build up to around 5, then get 4 bombers.
It works great at start and I killed around 15 swords with 5 bombers :) Gl

Its also good to know 3 bombs will kill swords, and also kill miners, so try get a group of 3 bombers. If his swords are bunched up, blast em. If his swords are spread out either

1. run past them and take out his miners, or
2. kill a single sword with crawlers, holding bombs back out of range.

If you do the later, and he brings in all his swords, then you bring in bombers and blast em.

To do this, you need to focus your control on the bombers most of the time - if your focused on the crawlers he may charge on sword at the bombs and they will auto attack - meaning all your bombs will blow up on just a single sword. If your controlling the bombs, and he tries the acharge with one sword, then you simply withdraw the bombers while your crawlers continue to auto attack the sword (who's not even fighting back any more).
You may need to pull a crawler back now and then if its getting hit by the sword - I suggest two options to consider;
while controlling the bombs, hit 'g' key so they retreat towards garrison, then control the crawler you need to save (this keeps the bombers away from his sword charge trick) select the crawler to rescue and pull him back, when the crawler is safe, use the ctrl-key (ctrl+6 i think) to select bombers and bring them back to position.

OR simply press space to select everything and click the position to retreat to - however this will stop fighting the sword.



On short maps, saddly chaos has to expect to lose against sword rush.

But, what you should try do is focus on keeping what ever he is attacking alive. Use one or two miners to fight early on along side crawlers, and keep spaming crawlers until you can build up enough surviving crawlers to make a counter attack. I think I have a replay of exactly that.

You should do 2 crawlers 2 miners all miners on gold and with the first 150 gold use it for miner that will mine gold and the next 150 gold use it for miner that is praying. But take note you must be good at micro or just at least stall and when you have enough money buy 3 bombers and if the enemy is so hooked in killing your 2 crawlers your 3 bombers will at least kill 3 or more swordwraths trust me ive done this. And when the swordwraths are dead capture the tower. But if all the swordwraths arent dead. Stall until you have enough fore jugger knight or eclipsors( both works) then kill the remaining and now you have the upper hand go about youre normal strategy. Good luck
