In actual animating skills yes
Miccool seems to have the actual principles of animation down better than Oscar.
But Oscar does have Miccool beat in storylines, efforts, and some other things such as angles in this case

Whooooaaaaaaaaa lol You did not just say that haha.
There is such a thing as over-easing, and that's the style Miccool used when animating Micwizard. The movements are over-eased and therefore unrealistic.

i base my selection on how much they inspire me
for me its not about the skill/level of the animation but more about the creativity used to animate it.
