The two important factor in the game, micro and macro. But which one will come out more handy? Also, which one is harder?

If I am correct, Micro is when your using singular units to their best ability, Macro is not really using your units to the best of their ability but you have so many units nobody can blame you.
Am I correct?
Am I correct?

Ah, you remind me; I should add a description.
Macro:The timing of building units.
Micro:The control of units which make it fully utilised.
A very useful thread here.

Well..., both are improtant.
Micro only: You'll be behind in terms of army and eco, therefore you might be skilled with a sword, but can you handle 2 swords?
Macro only: You mass spears. Rush. Triple electric wall+walls. They die. You rage.
PS: These are examples, so please no flame wars, arguments,...the likes.

Well, macro I would say is more important because well, if you're building the wrong units, but have good micro, how are you supposed to win? Like you start building spears and merics only to see the other guy have albowtrosses.
In terms of difficulty, I would say a tie.

I agree with Failing. Macro is more important.

Micro is mostly important during the 1st part of the game (Beginning)
Macro is mostly important during the 2nd part of the game (Half-way)
Micro-Macro are both needed during the last part of the game (Final Battle)
Although both of them needed, none can exist without other one.
Without macro, you'll lose the tower in the 2nd half of the game, or in the final battle.
Without micro, you'll lose the tower AND your first unit in the beginnings(Also during final battle, since Magikill needs micro).
Both of them are important, one shall not exist without the others.

The irony is that we the SE play-rs talk about micro more but eventually macro comes more handy O.O

Because macro is just A STRATEGY. or build.

Quote from Bladed FireBecause macro is just A STRATEGY. or build.
Okay okay hold your horses :O

in the end, macro is more important than micro because it would be more likely for a guy with bad micro but good macro to win then a guy with good micro but bad micro. If you have horrible macro then what would you micro from?

Macro over Micro... but that doesn't mean you can just spam whatever and just press Attack and not do any micro.

I thought this was obvious. Macro decisions are the biggest you can make... hence the name.
