You guys just don't get it do you?
I keep seeing posts along the lines of "Game A can't compare to Game B, Game C, AND Game D" or those stupid comparison posts with Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii followed by a single screenshot of a single game, as if it's supposed to be making a point of some sort.
The consoles themselves, and all of their advanced graphics and fancy processors and bigger hard drives don't matter at all. The only thing that matters is the games themselves. People are going to buy the console that has the most games that THEY want to play. No game is "better" than another game. Nobody gives two shits if the Xbox has Halo, Cod4, and Gears of war, if THEY don't like those games. Nobody gives a shit if MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive if THEY don't want to play it in the first place. Stop saying a consoles exclusives are "better" than anothers as if it is an absolute fact.
This is why I hate console wars, they reduce even the most intelligent debaters to idiots, firing off technical specs, game ratings, and statistics as if they mean anything to anyone, and zealously defending their console of choice as if it's the most important purchase they will ever make in their entire life. It's kind of pathetic when console threads lead to equally intense flame wars as the infamous religion threads.
Hows about you guys stop acting like twats and play whatever damn games you feel like on whatever console you happen to own.
