Games like Street Fighter IV are 2D based with 3Dish graphics that look sweet.

I'm gonna buy a 360 mainly because it has so many awesome fighting games:

Dead or Alive 4 (x360 exclusive)
Virtua Fighter 5
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Guilty Gear 2: Overture (x360 exclusive)
Soul Calibur 4
Street Fighter 4
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit

the only game missing is Tekken 6 which is PS3 exclusive :(

Seriously guys, lets face it, the xbox360 pwns the PS3 at games at the moment, your lineup may be enough to get the PS3 contending with the xbox360, but we also have some good games up and coming soon.

You just gotta wait till your aiming thing turns red and hit the R-trigger as fast as you can, and if you get into like a sword dual where you both are just cancling each other out then you can press the B button to hit just a fraction of a second earlier so they die.

PS3 has the potential to be a great consol, it's just that sony let down the consumers game wise.


EDIT: And Brawl is fun for awhile, and the new features are pretty cool. But as you said the Wii is a bit gimicky, and personaly I like playing Brawl with a gamecube controler.
