Pivot Error!!!

Can someone please help me...
I made a very awesome, long, pivot animation...
But when i try to save it as a gif. , Hlafway through the download it sais "Out of memory"
Can someone please tell me what this means and what can I do to fix it!

It sais something about "System Error: Code:8."

Try exporting it to another location.
Try changing some of the settings. (Size, super sample etc.)
Save animation, exit, open it up and try again.

I ran out of ideas pretty quickly.
