Hey Stickanians! I have a huge favor to ask from you...

For some reason, even after 4 years of torture and treacherous paths, I'm still fascinated with animation and art in general. And now comes the time for me to begin my search for colleges who will help me reach my dreams to BECOME THE WORLD'S GREATEST POKEMO-- wait, thats not it. TO BECOME A GREAT ANIMATOR! Yeah, thats more like it.

So I need you, my fellow otters, to help me with it. In part because I'm really skeptical about college myself...
Please tell me, what are some famous colleges/universities that you have heard of which specialize in animation and art/design?
Honestly, I'll go wherever the wind takes me (as long as it isn't TOO far away ewe), so the country doesn't matter all that much. But, hey. Canada sounds like a cool place ;) .

Up to date I have briefly looked at:
SHERIDAN
SCAD
CALARTS
RINGLING
GOBELINS
FULL SAIL

If you happen to know anything about them that you i think it'd be convenient for me to know as well, don't hesitate to tell me!

I'd love you to come to France, sir. We would have parties every damn night.

Besides that, France is one of the most animation productive country in the world (the third to be precise, behind the USA and Japan). It has also lots of good schools. I would highly recommend "Les Gobelins", which is, I think, the best french school for graphic art and animation. Here's a file about it:

Oooh Le France~ Europe has always been my ultimate frontier to be honest...
And as a matter of fact I have heard of quite a few successful animation studios and schools in France!
The only problem I see with it, is the language barrier. I'm quiiteee awful at french myself, and even if the college taught in english somehow, I'd still be a little bit challenging to fit in haha. Nonetheless, considering how attracted I am to Europe, I wouldn't mind learning some french ;)

I HAVE ARRIVED

Anyway, I know there are a lot of animation/art colleges in North Carolina (if you live near here)

One that comes to mind is The School Of the Arts in Wiston Salem. Ill have to look up a few others.
I also think A&T has one.
